Works well and ideal for small jobs on the go. Just wish there was a option not having to keep finger on touch button as that makes it tricky for some jobs. Only 1 tip in box so best to order more which are available on Amazon. Good accessories that come with it. All in all a great buy and very handy, very happy with item and seller.

After just over 40 years my small Antex soldering iron failed. Decided a cordless one would be handy for the limited use I have but felt it was a gamble as not sure about longevity (both me and the soldering iron). A bit expensive for what it is but it is but only slighly more than a new Antex corded one so took the plunge. Only came with one bit but was able to get a set of 3 different shaped bits that fit (E10 screw in) for other jobs. The iron came with a stand which seems OK apart froma rather feeble tip-wiping sponge square which is less than 1mm thick and is loose so does not slot into the stand. Disappointingly no carry pouch to keep everything together. Only used it once so far and was good but have to get used to remembering to hold the touch sensor. Heats up fairly quick, not instantaneous but acceptable. Fatter for handling that the conventional iron but comfortable enough and not a numb device.

The soldering iron works very well and warms up very quickly.

Bought in April, now it's July and it has stopped working. It charges but the touch sensor no longer works and it remains cold. When it arrived though, it was great and performed as described. It was great for really fine soldering work on model railways. Three months is too short. I am hoping for a replacement.

Good cordless soldering iron great for quick jobs just a shame you only get one tip with the iron there are cheaper ones on the market where you get three or more tips but not as good as this iron.

Very good for quick cable free soldering. Turn on, hold sensor until light goes green - you’re ready to go! Easy to use, works perfectly.

Works great on small jobs. Thin wires and small connections are grand. Anything thicker this might not get enough heat in to melt then so together.

Zeer tevreden, is zeer snel op temperatuur, handig zonder stroomdraad, ligt goed in de hand, MAAR VOORAL, doet zeer goed wat die moet doen...solderen. Ik heb wel de extra 3 soldeerpunten gekocht omdat de bijgeleverde soldeerpunt ook echt een zeer fijne punt is, wat geschikt is om op printplaten fijne componenten te solderen. Maar voor het vertinnen van draden, of solderen van connectoren of kabels zijn de extra soldeerpunten daarop voorzien vanwege een bredere soldeerpunt, wat de spreiding van hitte beter verspreid en dus gemakkelijk connectoren, kabrls, etc... soldeert. Voor zware kabels te solderen of contacten, is deze daar iets te zwak voor. Deze soldeerbout is perfect voor fijne electronica, of als je zelf audio, etc.. kabels maakt de perfekte soldeerbout. Het zware werk voor sterkstroom raad ik een soldeerbout op netsnoer aan. Maar logisch ook, je gaat ook niet in een betonnen muur van 15cm een gat boren met een draadloze boormachine. Een zeer goede soldeerbout voor wat die voor geschikt is, en dus een echte aanrader, en daarbij raad ik ook aan om de extra soldeerpunten van dit merk bij te bestellen.
