Rocky Mountain Angel (Rocky Mountain House Book 4)

I absolutely loved Gabe and Allison’s story.I've loved Gabe in all of the previous books but never knew what he truly lived with but guessed it wasn't a fun ride from how much he gave to everyone.I loved Allison in Daniel and Beth's story. The small part she had at the dinner.I love Rafe his younger brother and of course their ma as for Ben they truly got a raw sad situation. What an @ss.I honestly love this book told more about the other Coleman clans.I was honestly shocked about why Jesse borrowed Gabes truck and the scene between Jesse and Joel.I absolutely love this series and it's one I will want to reread over and over.The chemistry between Gabe and Allison was scorching.I highly recommend this book to everyone who loves a phenomenal love story.

I loved reading about another Coleman family, this time it was the Angel branch with Gabe & Allison. Gabe is the oldest of the family of three boys, and the cousin to the Six Pack Ranch that also lives in Rocky Mountain. It appears that all six brothers from the original Coleman all have a ranch spread in Rocky Mountain and each family supports their own and each one is wealthy in their own rite. Gabe's family is struggling big time, and they may lose their ranch in September if they can't pay their note to the bank. Gabe's dad Ben is a mean old bastard and a drunk, and no matter what kind of idea's Gabe comes up with to try and turn a profit, the old man shoots him down. He's trying to get the land to be certified for organic, it's a long process and can take up to five years before it truely can be viable. However Gabe has started this process all ready and has been putting things into place for the past two years, it's not enough, but every little bit helps. Allison Parker has been helping Gabe through the organic process, now she comes to the ranch in a complete panic on her horse Patches, she's delirious and half out of her mind when Gabe finds her, she's falling out of the saddle while being chased by guys in a pick-up truck racing her down too close to a ditch. Gabe gets her safely off the horse, and brings her into his cabin, she's crazed, he gives her water, and tries to figure out what is going on. She ask's him for a huge favor, "will you be my pretend fiancé". Gabe is floored, she explains her mother is sick and dying and she's moved lock stock and barrel everything from Red Deer, but her mother won't be convinced unless she has a back-up plan a fiancé. Gabe gets her settled, and into the guest bed, tells her to get some sleep and to think about her proposal, he's got a prior commitment and has to go out, we'll talk more in the morning. In the morning they discuss the situation, he's not so happy because if means deceiving his family, the whole family not just his immediate family. She tells him for his help, she'll be able to further help him get more contacts and further along his future plans to be certified organic. He decides, he can live with the deception, first he kisses her and practical knocks her socks off, wow that was intense and says okay I'll help you. First thing they do is go collect her car, so she can unpack it, and get her set-up in the cabin, because the stipulation is she stays at Gabe's at night, for the plan to be convincing. They get her all settled, then they go and see Gabe's mom and they tell her, she's thrilled, and she'll tell her husband Ben. Read this story because it will make you laugh and cry and show you what it truly means to be a family, it will also make you cum. Enjoy reading it!

Rocky Mountain Angel by Vivian Arend was another spectacular story in the Six Pack Ranch companion series. I'm in love with this series. A family full of six, sexy cowboys. Hot sex scenes. Passionate romance. What's not to love?Allison Parker and Gabe Coleman have been friends for years. When Allison comes back to town and proposes that they fake an engagement to make her dying mother happy in exchange for her knowledge on organic ranching, Gabe takes her up on her offer. What neither one of them anticipates is that they will fall for their own deception, but that's exactly what happens when their pretend feelings turn into something real.I loved watching Allison and Gabe's romance ripen. Their relationship began as a sham, but they grew to depend on each other and trust in each other. Just like their trust, their attraction and chemistry also blossomed throughout the novel.Rocky Mountain Angel was sweet and sexy just like its predecessors, but it was also pretty emotional. Overall, I would consider this a happy story but it's not without its darker moments. Throughout this novel, Allison's mother battles pancreatic cancer and Gabe's father is a cruel, emotionally abusive bastard. Both situations were emotional for completely different reasons, but they both managed to break my heart all the same.Another great thing about this novel is that the other Coleman cousins make an appearance in this novel too. From the beginning, I've been intrigued by the Coleman twins. I'm counting down the days until the troublesome twosome get their own stories because I get the feeling that their love stories will be the sexiest, most entertaining stories of them all. :)I gave Rocky Mountain Angel (Six Pack Ranch #4) by Vivian Arend 5 STARS (4.5 STARS). Cute story. Long grinds coming together to pull a ruse over on her mom. While her mom pretends everything is fine. Allison knows she is sick and needs an excuse to come home. Gabe needs help transitioning over to organic on the farm and Allison is the go-to. They had such an easy relationship. Their friendship and attraction laid a solid foundation for growth. Loved gave. He is a hot Canadian cowboy that always helps others, is loyal and loving. Him saving the cat, just wow. Wish we got mornings about Cassidy and what happened if Travis said it wasn’t at the fight club but I’m sure it will come. Loved Gabe and Allison together. His father just needs to leave.

Gabe didn't talk much about anything but was always there to lend a hand, Allison came home on a pretence, then she asked Gabe the biggest favour ever, after some thought Gabe agreed. They were going to pretend that they are together, engaged and all. This is not just another love story it has meaning hate anger oh yes and love a great read a hard yet lovely story. I recommend this for all lovers

A classic cowboy romance of pretend marriage to real relationship. The family dynamics and conflicts add to the drama and there’s sadness in here too in the reality of sickness and loss. Personally, I found the character of Gabe’s father Joe to be overdrawn and unconvincing but Gabe and Allison are a lively likeable couple. There are steamy bedroom scenes so if you like a ‘clean’ romance this might not be for you; I found them a tad repetitive toward the end, the writing is good enough without.

I have read all of the books in the series so far and have enjoyed getting to know the characters. I really thought Ms Arends would be hard pushed to write a story as emotion grabbing as Dan's story but I was wrong.Rocky Mountain Angel is a book that slowly sucks you in and doesn't let you go until the end of the story. Gabe and Alison's romance is kind of slow to build, but seems all the more solid because of that and all the way through the story you just know they will stay together no matter what.The twist in the story of Gabe's brother Michael is unexpected, but explains (not excuses) a lot.My advice, read the books in order, get to know the family dynamics, you'll enjoy each story all the better for it.

Allison returns to her hometown when she finds her mum is dieing. She manages to convince Gabe that she can help turn around his families ranch if he does a favour for her. He agrees and they tell everyone they are engaged. She goes to live in his cabin and its not long before they sleep together. His father doesn't believe any of it and stirs up trouble.

Oh how i enoyed reading this, couldnt bring myself to put this book down - every girl needs a Gabe in her life! The story centres on Allison And Gabe, friends through their younger years that have kept in touch despite Allison moving away to pursue a career. Gabe moved on for a time following a tragic family loss, but returned to work on his family's ranch.Allison enlists Gabe's help in pulling off the rather intricate scam to cover up her real reasons for returning to her home town. Add in a Gabes bitter nasty father, a box of kittens and their slow burning desire and this books got it all. This is my favourite book of the series, read it, you wont regret it - if you havent read the others yet - try them too.
