I purchased this remote to replace the existing one that was supplied with the original tv. Unfortunately, the old remote, after several years of service, showed signs of heavy use on the more popular buttons, meaning that they had to be pressed several times to try to get them to work. This new remote works great. No need for repeated button pressing and will no doubt be perfectly okay for a long time to come. Very satisfied with the unit.

Its the correct one for my TV so it works well. This particular one was much cheaper than some original ones I've seen

The current price at ~ £43 is ridiculously high. So 1 star is for the high price. Target price is ~ £10 for these spare/compatible remotes. I bought one from same supplier for ~ £10 some time ago, and it works fine. It is 5 stars for functionality.

I started looking for a new remote by contacting a well-known specialist electrical parts supplier, who I'd dealt with before - I was quoted over £50 for a genuine replacement item. I then looked on Amazon & found this - at less than £10 delivered I thought it must probably be a 'copy'. However, it's exactly what it says in the description, the real thing - & it works perfectly - I'm both delighted with the product & surprised at how little I paid. Thanks.

Had been quoted £48+ at a retail outlet for an identical replacement. Had to wait a week but well worth it. Worked immediately without any programming. Identical to original. Would thoroughly recommend this item.

The remote control arrived yesterday -- excellent condition -- worked immediately after popping in batteries. No more struggling with the old one which was obviously wearing out. Thank you 'Cherrypickers' !! May Adam
