Good for BMW E38 transmission oil pipe
Although the packaging states suitability for Ford and GM, I have successfully used the red insert for my 2000 E38 750iL transmission oil cooler pipes. My pipe collars had broke. Make sure you apply plenty of WD-40 to the pipe ends before hand. 20 seconds of toing and froing and the pipes were off. A mechanic quoted me £70 to take the pipes off because he had a "special disconnect tool". A good product from Lisle.

Might be a bit flimsy, but saved my bacon on a jag fuel pipe.

Liked the concept and the selection.
Good assortment of sizes and i liked the idea but unfortunately not robust enough for my application. I wanted to replace the fuel filter on my Saab 95. The diameter of one of these items is perfect but even though I had used WD 40 to penetrate fitting this tool would not move the clip no matter how I pulled pipe while levering the tool with a range of items. Gave up because it was getting to the point where I could damage fitting and end up with a bigger job. The car had 90k plus miles and was 14 years old so They probably were not designed for this task and I was probably expecting too much from them.

Surprisingly durable
I bought these to release the air con pipes in my smart roadster. The pipes are under the car. After about ten minutes, they released. Being plastic I thought they would break easily, but they have lasted well
