Great start for new company! Well done!!
[UPDATE: Added a fifth star for exceptionally excellent customer service.](Fun and clever and looks great, a top choice. A lot of the review below is advice for the company and those who already bought it, so it may seem more negative than it should be. But I recommend this! We liked ita lot!)If you like the idea of this type of puzzle, and you're not sure which one to get, start with IDVenture's Schrodinger's Cat. They're the best in this category, and that was their first one. The product here was inspired by existing products like that, and it's not bad at all, especially since it's one of their first ones. (Relatedly, avoid avoid avoid just about everything in this category from the company ESC Welt.)The signposting on this product is relatively clear and straightforward, with one major exception: how to get the top of the box off when you think you're at the end? Do not force it! You're not done yet. There's one more thing you have to do and, unfortunately, there's absolutely zero signposting on it, so you're left with literally no idea what to do. In fact, there's nothing even left to wiggle around, so you might accidentally think your box is simply stuck. This is the one thing this product badly needs to fix, such as by adding a tad of signposting on that one last piece (the saw key!).Only other negative thing to report is that the ending is extremely unclear. You are told to do something that supposedly will lead to more puzzles, and you're given items that very much look like they contain more puzzles on them. But all you're led to is a bizarre story about how you did lots more fun puzzles (even though you didn't, abs even though you were led to believe you were about to) and there's really zero indication that you're about as done as you can possibly be. I looked into this, so if you're reading this after the fact, the explanation is that this company eventually intends to make a total of eight puzzle boxes, and you won't be able to do a bonus puzzle of some sort until you've completed all eight. The wood itself is on the cheap side. A piece broke off (pictured) even though I knew to handle it very delicately.Yes, I will definitely order the next one(s) from this company. I enjoyed it. But I would recommend it more for someone who's done all the truly excellent and higher-quality ones first (meaning all of IDVenture's Clueboxes, which are similarly prices) and yearns for more puzzling of this style. If I were judging by comparison to others, I would have given it 3 stars. But it's one of this company's first puzzle boxes and, for what it is, it ain't bad at all. Again, I liked it! A solid 4 stars. And I appreciate the effort they made to ensure the box will look pretty on my shelf with all my others.

Fun puzzle box! Excellent design and theme.
This was a super-fun box to solve! The box had a great theme - Egyptian. The hieroglyphs and symbols were really engaging. I enjoyed the difficulty very much, not too easy, not too hard. It took about 45 minutes to solve with really interesting moves. There's a surprise inside!

Not their best work
I've done a ton of these and generally think highly of these guys, but this particular box seems to me that they just kind of mailed it in. It seemed like there were going to be a lot of different things to decipher when in actuality all the hieroglyphics all over the box only applied to a small piece of the box, and the actual puzzles were oddly disconnected from each other. There was no real flow, like solving one to get to the next like most of their boxes are.Once solved you are able to see all of the internal mechanisms which is cool, but reinforced my thought that there wasn't any real flow to it. I was also unable to get the box put back together because aligning one part was nearly impossible and something else broke so I couldn't get a knob put back in place. I'm pretty careful with these puzzles so I don't think it was anything I did to break it.I do love all their other boxes, this one not so much.

Fun challenge
I liked the challenge if the puzzle box, but parts of it fell apart, so will have to be glued in order for someone else to do. Also a little on the pricey side for what you get. I will probably order their other boxes at some time though, as I love the design and challenge of these puzzles. Fun to do!
