Outward Hound by Planet Dog Orbee-Tuff Planet Ball Blue/Green Treat-Dispensing Dog Toy, Medium

I have GSD mix who has destroyed two rubber like balls so far, and this one is worth every penny. She really loves the gummy type balls that have a soft chewiness to them and a lot of bounciness and this one really delivers. We just had a good workout with it and I am going to order another one as a replacement for when she eventually chews up this one, and maybe another as a gift for her litter mate whose family we stay in touch with. She loves that it bounces and is nice and chewy, I love that it is toxin free, and it's tough but says it won't hurt her teeth. It says you can stash treats in it but we use this outside, and I don't leave food items outside because of unwanted wildlife. It's a pricey toy, but well worth it.

***UPDATE*** 12/18/14We have had this ball for over a month, and aside from all of the continents being torn off, it has held up! Our FozzyBear loves to chew on something soft, but he has destroyed and eaten every toy he's ever had. I've gotten the evidence picking up his beloved toys one last time in the backyard. This one is a great toy! You do HAVE to watch your dog with it while the continents are intact, but it's not a dangerous toy once they're gone. Our dog has destroyed literally EVERYTHING, and yet, the Orbee Tuff planet ball remains.------------So far, this ball has been the only thing that our monster chewer (Aussie/Great Dane mix) hasn't been able to destroy in 5 minutes or less (aside from Nylabones). Granted, he has only had his mouth on it for about an hour, but for him, that's like decades! It's nice to have a toy that's kinda soft for him to chew on, since all we've been able to give him are Nylabones, but from the pile of throw pillows from the couch that are now destroyed, I can tell that he wants something soft, which this satisfies - but without being a total waste of money. Like all the other reviews, I have to say that the "continents" come off pretty easy, but the ball itself remains intact. It smells really good too. :)I know The Fozz will be able to tear this thing apart eventually, but for the effort and time he's put into trying, it's held up well. We will buy this again, and we will certainly recommend.

I was skeptical purchasing this ball, as all bully breed owners might be. My dog (Chip, pictured) although a gentle cuddle bug is NOTORIOUS for breaking apart any toy in less than an hour. Tennis balls - easy. Baseballs - easy. Kong balls - easy. Literally no toy has ever lasted over a week. BUT, I am proud to report that this ball is heaven-sent. Not only is it durable beyond belief, but the color and texture is one my pup loves to this day. We’ve now had this ball for over 6 months and it’s going strong. There’s a little bit of wear and tear on the green country accents but to be honest that is of no concern - the ball is still in super functional and great shape.Thank you for making a long lasting toy that my pup is absolutely obsessed with! Will now be looking at other toys created by this brand.

Still love these balls and so do my dogs!!

I have a 14 pound Rat Terrier but he chews heavily like a big dog. I have been looking for indestructible toys because he is going thru his chew toys really quickly (and this is getting expensive!) The ball seems OK so far except the green "earth" pieces do come off. I'm pretty sure he won't be able to destroy the blue part underneath since it is really thick and sturdy. So we'll just keep an eye on him so he doesn't eat any of the green stuff until it's just a blue ball. So if looks are an issue for you, it does get ugly when the green part comes off. The ball also has a minty smell baked into it which is great, even after he's been chomping and slobbering on it for a couple weeks now it doesn't get stinky. Because of the shape, it bounces irregularly when playing fetch so it is extra fun for him to chase it all over.

One of the most durable, long lasting balls around, even for the medium-large sized pups.

Orbee-Tuff is the only thing that holds up with my pups.

This is very sturdy. My dog loves this ball. It is her favorite.
