Good. Only problem is they sell place mats as box of four while the coasters are sets of six. I had to buy for eight sitting 2 boxes of place mats and two boxes of coasters.

I had already bought one set of these larger mats at Christmas time for our 10 seater family table and was very pleased with them. They were intended for use in the middle, however the adults mainly preferred to use them. Hence the need for a further purchase. They are excellent for hot dishes and have not been scratched at all. I also have 8 of the smaller 11 x8 mats and a set of coasters, I recommend this item.

Love them. Wanted place mats big enough to hold dinner plate AND cutlery. These are perfect and mean I don't have to use a tablecloth to protect my table top surface. Being black, my white plates look really nice on them too. Very pleased.

Because of my arthritis, I decided to change my daily dishes from heavier earthenware dishes to very lightweight Corelle dishes which are a very pure white and much whiter than the other dishes I was replacing. Therefore, I had to get new table mats these beautiful black with gold, trim mats, cork, from Pimperel. I have had other Pimpernel mats before and I’ve loved them so I knew I would love these too and I really do. It turns out that I like the look of my table now more than I did before and I’m really shocked! I have added a photo so you can see that the color all works together between the oriental rug below the table, the dishes, and what I have on the turntable Lazy Susan, which is black as well. I love love love these cork table mats! They’re so easy to clean, just wipe them with a damp sponge and then dry them off with a paper towel and they look very elegant.

Well made and thicker than some other cork mats we have had . Very elegant on table when not in use. Liked so much bought another set of 4 as backup in case one was ever damaged by some mishap.

These placemats are elegant looking and I really like them! I am using two of them to cover the top of an old side table. Now the didd table looks great and is useful again.
