Return to Salem's Lot

Firstly the DVD is a well made reproduction of the film. A Return to Salem's Lot was designed to cash in on the original Salem's Lot TV film with David Soul. Aside from the name and the typography on the front of the DVD case that's where the similarity ends. The film is dreadful. Not even so bad its good, like an Ed Wood film. Or unintentionally funny, but truly dreadful as a film. There are nods to the European cannibal horror films at the beginning.

Not anywhere as good as the first 2 part TV movie, but the DVD that,s region 4 but UK friendly look,s very good with 1.78.1 wide screen picture and good sound too, the USA DVD is a DVD r on demand copy, so if buying the movie this one,s best.

Nobody could act, the characters were hopeless, the story was crummy and the demon was laughable. I willo keep it because it ia a S King title, although he had no input into it.

Rubbish could not believe how bad this film is

Hubby loves his horrors and he said he liked the dvd as well.
