Was a little nervous about purchasing because the other snakes like this on Amazon didn't have good reviews. This one had the best reviews despite it looking like the same thing I decided to go for it. It's actually really amazing! It was the favorite of the party despite there being a flying drone! The egg remote (which is adorable by the way) comes with little coins batteries included. 3 I believe. However, the snake itself is rechargeable and comes with an audio Jack type of charger. The charger seems very cheaply made but it works just fine and even has an indicator light. Just make sure you don't lose it because it's unique. I can't believe how popular this was with how cheap it is! And people kept asking where I got it and how much it was. I didn't want to say how much lol! Compared to a 100$ drone haha. It looks pretty real. I mean if you saw this while walking into a room you would think it's real! It's a little bit loud but it almost sounds like hissing. One thing to note is that this will only work on hard surfaces. Carpet won't work and I think that even textured cement it would not be able to move. I can see how this seems fragile but it's holding up to the kids playing with it. They aren't throwing it around or anything but with normal play this is holding up. I wouldn't expect this to last forever in any means but it's not like it's made of glass. It's awesome and I would totally buy this again if I could. In fact I might buy another just for my cat. It comes in gift friendly packaging. Requires little assembly. All you have to do is put the batteries in the egg which will require a small screw driver. It does not come with a plug for the charger but you can still charge from a computer or battery pack. I would recommend this to anyone it's so cute and snake loving kids would go nuts over this.

Total piece of junk. Even for the price, I expected to use it for at least a few days or a couple of weeks and just replace the batteries. After 5 minutes of using it, the wheels stopped turning and none of the buttons did anything. I checked to see if the wheels were jammed up by anything, but they weren't. While he was moving, he just started slowing down until he barely moved and then not at all. On top of that, for some stupid reason they use a screw to close the battery door rather than just a clip to shut it, and the screw is SUPER small and you need an eyeglass screwdriver to open it which I didn't have so I had to look around for something small enough to fit in and turn it. Who designed this thing?! Definitely getting a refund.

If you're looking for something "spectacular" this isn't it. If you have a little money to burn and want to drive your cats nuts... or annoy one, and give the other some exercise, this is a good idea. The remote control takes a little getting used to. The instructions are lackluster to say the least. But I did manage to read them with reading glasses and a magnification lens! There's no reverse... so head's up, make sure you're good at avoiding obstructions, otherwise you'll be the one getting all the exercise pulling the snake back onto a flat surface. This will run on a flat Berber-type carpet and bumpy slate floors, so that's a plus. This does have a pretty life-like wiggle to it. My cats are rather "aloof". After about 15 minutes they walked off unimpressed.

This snake is fun, but it is hard to get to go in directions you want it. Could be operated error. Batteries don’t last very long.

Purchased this RC Snake for our 8 year old granddaughter who asked for one for Christmas (since I said no to a her getting a real snake). She is thrilled with it as is her siblings ages 2 1/3 & 6. They all the love the egg shaped remote. Easy to use & nicely made. Slithers back & forth and looks real enough to keep them interested. Would purchase again. Shipping was quick.

This thing sucked. The screw to put the batteries in was already stripped out. The remote needs a Direct line of sight within about 20 feet. Meaning you can’t put it under something sitting 4 feet away with the remote in your pocket and have it work. Remote hast to be out of your pocket and pointed right at the toy. The on off switch snapped off about my fifth time turning it on. Didn’t hold charge very long either. Was definitely disappointed with this purchase.

This little magic worm done skeered the stuffing outa them dern cats. At first, before we figured out that you gotta turn it on with a tiny little switch under the chin, them cats was gathered around staring at it like a couple of chickens watching a card trick. Then Bibbs, that's Bernice's boy, turned it on, waited a couple seconds, and then mashed the remote button so the magic worm started worming and them cats flied straight up in the air. Oh lord, we FELL OUT. Bibs was chasing them dern cats around the house with the magic worm until the battery give out and we was heevin rollin and hollerin the whole time. Our only complaint is that it took too long to charge the battery up agin. Actually, it was probably about the right amount of time cuz them dern cats sorta forgot about it. relaxed a little, you know? When Bibs, that's Bernice's boy, fired it up a second time they was just as skeered. it's the best Christmas gift I ever got. We're fixin to bye another one.
