We batch coo most meals for freezing so we always have our very own takeaways. Making our own assures us that it is prepared hygienically. We don't buy from from takeaways anymore for two reasons:1/ We know the food we use is of decent quality and handled only by us as we don't trust the cleanliness of many of the junk food outlets. Who has handled the food? Do they wash their hands etc.2/ Our home made takeaways cost a fraction to make compared to rip off prices otherwise.

Recently, I ordered the MyChoice Clip-and-Lock food containers set. And you know what? They've swiftly become my go-to's when it comes to organising the kitchen chaos.First up, the value. At £39.99, it initially seemed a bit steep. But, given the variety and number of pieces you're getting, it is worth it. Whether it's leftovers or just the weekly meal prep sessions, these containers have a size for everything. Plus, they've thrown in 40 reusable labels and a marker, which is just perfect for someone forgetful like me. 🤦One thing I found super handy? Those little air vents. They might look insignificant, but trust me, they work wonders when you’re trying to microwave your food without it exploding. And for someone who isn’t exactly on best terms with washing up (guilty! 🙋), the fact that these are dishwasher safe is a lifesaver.👍 Pros:Massive variety for every food storage need.Air vents for microwave ease.Dishwasher safe (because nobody likes doing dishes, right?).👎 Cons:Initial cost might be a slight pinch. But considering the number and quality, it balances out.In a nutshell, if you're looking to bring a bit of order to your culinary chaos, this set might just be your kitchen's new BFF. THese have multiple containers for every situation, very slight colouring after leaving curry in one for a few days and then running the dishwasher but it's not a big deal. The little vent holes on the top are a nice touch but weaken after a few uses and don't stay closed very well, there's no real seal on them or anything, just hard plastic.

Whilst these work fine on the whole the clips that hold the lid down have started to break off making some of the lids useless

These arrived neatly packed into one large box. The first thing I noticed was that these aren't stackable, so when not in use they are going to take a lot of space.The lids have moveable vents for microwave use with is a handy feature.Quality wise they're not the best I have (Addis) and not the worst (pound shop!) but somewhere in the middle.

This set has containers of different sizes, and each comes with an airtight lid. The large size containers are so spacious that they can easily fit a full family-size meal. These containers are dishwasher and microwave safe, so they are very handy for everyday storage. They take up less space in the fridge too. The steam release vent is superb for hot food items, although I do make sure that the food is not too hot when I put it in the container. These are plastic containers, but they are definitely good quality.

Having received the number of container packed nicely in a large box priced very reasonably I'd say "thanks a million", this product had many containers that we used for about a month now, all come with lids and some of it had holes which meant possibly microwaveable.Anyway, I tested a couple of them containers, easy to wash and open, but I have to admit that I spent more time trying to close the lid on of the container "properly", it was a struggle mainly because the cover does not usually center on the container naturally, it does require moving back and forth until the grip handle locks in place.The plastic material is a little thinner than I was hoping for, it does work but I wouldn't feel very comfortable putting any hot liquids inside it yet.Overall, we're quite pleased with this product and hope it can be improved one day
