The media could not be loaded. The good... easy assembly, but you'll need a #2 Phillips head a 14mm box wrench or socket and small crescent wrench, heavy duty construction sturdy legs. Quiet, adjustable speed and clear lid.The bad... there are some sharp edges and O got a couple of small nicks on two fingers while unpacking. The worst is that there are no side handles. It really needs handles and I'll add them to move it around. The ugly...it unpacked with a fist sized dent in the bottom but despite the heavy construction zi gave it a decent thump from the inside with a rubber mallet and no harm done.Overall very nice for the price. I got it on sale for $160 but probably worth full price too and so much easier than my manual extractor!

Worth the money
It worked perfectly for extracting the honey from my frames! I only have one hive so it didn’t have a ton of frames but with this I’m thinking about splitting my hive this spring.

Easier than cranking by hand. Little on heavy side.
This is a nice product. We have between 4-6 hives now and then. It may be a little oversized for what we use it for but much better than are old plastic hand cranked separator that you have to hug to keep from shaking all over the place. Plus SS is a lot easier to clean than plastic. This unit does vibrate somewhat due to the frames not all being equal in weight but variable speed motor can take that into account and control wobble. So when assembling I would recommend getting some split washers or other anchoring methods to keeps the little nuts and bolts from vibrating loose.

Works great
I have used this twice now, and it is a great size, is well balanced, and all stainless. It’s small enough that I can transport it in my small car easily enough without the legs, and is big enough to easily do 4 deep frames at a time

Defective with horrible customer service
This honey spinner was purchased for my daughter for her birthday, but she did not need it until only recently (honey season). The motor worked for less than a minute. We reached out to customer service immediately (before the warranty expiration). Initially I was impressed with their customer service--they determined that the problem was with the "governor part" and the said they would send us a replacement part free of charge. This was on October 10.At this point I figured the part was in the mail. I was wrong. On October 23, I finally heard from them again. They said they are unable to send the part because it contains a capacitor and that is on the "prohibited item" list and that they cannot ship it. (Which makes me wonder--how on earth did they ship it to begin with?) They ALSO told me that the item is past its warranty date. (Apparently if they wait long enough--2 weeks in this case--then it passes the warranty date and they are no longer responsible.)Most recently, they want me to find a place to have it repaired and they are willing to give me $20 dollars. No thank you. $20 will get me nowhere. Do not buy this product. They will not stand by their product. In fact, I would avoid any other VEVOR product as well.

Absolutely love. We made 30 jars of honey thanks to this item.

Great Extractor
I’m new to beekeeping and got this on a whim for my first honey gathering. I wanted to de-cap the frames to save the wax cells rather than crush and strain it.I could not have been happier. It was very easy to put together and worked like a charm. I quickly and easily processed all the frames and had the honey bottled. It was easy to clean up and I look forward to getting to use it again next time.It was nice to be able to control the speed and the gasket on the bottom did not leak at all. My only issue was the small screws that hold on the top doors would shake loose. I had to retighten them a few times. I will probably add a few drops of glue to hold them in place. For the price, you can’t go wrong with this extractor.

Works well with two frames.
The media could not be loaded. Tried using four frames seems like it does not have enough speed with the extra weight but it worked well with two frames .it's okay. Bought it on prime day and got a good deal but it's not really all that great. Have a two frame manual that can keep up with it.
