Is becoming my favourite pen!
Very nice pen, brass and wood as described, with a smooth writing action. Good quality. Does not have a pocket clip, which is idea for me and gives a streamline look. Excellent value for money.

Balanced
With a 0.7mm nib and polished wooden body and solid brass cap it is very well crafted. The only thing missing is a clip so you can put it on show. It writes very smoothly without skipping or scratching. It is a fantastic looking pen which is well mad and looks expensive but is not. This pen is one purchase I am pleased to have made.

Great pen.. with a bit of patience
I have several fountain pens which I use for daily notes as part of my workflow. Personally, I prefer them to biros or other disposables. This pen seemed too good to be true at the price. Actually, it is beautifully made and finished. There is a 'but' though! When it arrived the nicely made nib was really scratchy, so that it seemed to tear into standard 80gsm white office paper. I ran mine over some 7000 finishing paper (made for final finishing of car paintwork, I think...) and just a few strokes on this have solved the problem completely and left me with a very nice, smooth pen. Mine may have been a rogue production issue, but should you have the same issue (with any pen), try to get hold of a little ultra fine abrasive paper. Possibly just using it normally over a few days would fix it. The pen lid screws on securely, and is very well engineered, as is the whole pen - which is elegant and finished to an impressive level at anything close to this price point. The lack of a pocket clip makes it very smooth - but it does want to roll off the table if you don't put it down somewhere appropriate! I use this (green) pen with the green Waterman ink, which is a very pleasing colour.

Gives a rather THICK line
Generally speaking, this is a very nice pen. It writes smoothly. Unfortunately, my handwriting is quite small, so with the rather thick line this pen produces, my writing is almost illegible. I would not recommend it for people with small handwriting. I have dip pens that give a much thinner line, which improves the legibility of my handwriting. I will therefore be looking around for a fountain pen with a true fine point - I consider this pen to have a medium nib, not fine. For drawing purposes, however, the thick line is acceptable and this pen's smoothness is a plus. It sits comfortably in the hand and the feeling of the wood is very nice.

I’m never going back to a biro!
I adore these pens. I got given one as a Christmas present and immediately bought myself another one in a different colour with ink to match. They’re so well made and easy to use. The ink doesn’t get blocked up or explode on your hand or the page and they make writing feel so luxurious. I don’t think I’ll ever got back to a normal pen.

Ink reservoir doesn't work
The first time I ordered this pen, it got lost and I was given a refund. Bought it 'again' and it arrived quickly. However, when I tried to fill the reservoir, it would only take in minimal ink. I noticed a loose part so I guess it was faulty. It looks nice. The one word I was able to write with it with the minimal ink intake proved to be a smooth writing experience. Such a shame as I didn't want to use one use ink cartridges. I guess you get what you pay for.
