A great quadcopter with some really nice features
For the price, this quadcopter has a lot of nice features. It flies very well and is fun to fly. It was very easy to setup, having it ready to fly. It comes with two batteries which is giving me 5-7 minutes of flying. It's decent size so when you fly it high it easy to see. It supports headless mode with is nice for beginners. It's pretty easy to get the camera working for pictures and video. There are many more features which make it a good deal for the price.

Drone battery
I just got this today and I discovered that one of the drone batteries work and the other one doesn’t charge at all

very nice for entry level drone
The media could not be loaded. my teen had his first drone. easy control, no experience needed. it was dropped to water for a few mins, it worked fine after drying up.

You have to have a particular phone obviously.
The drone was alright but I couldn't get it to connect to my phone and couldn't use the camera.

This company has the best customer service! They go above and beyond to make things right.
I recieved my Idea 16 drone and one of the batteries was not charging fully. The company sent me a new battery and I got it in 3 days. The drone flies great and the new battery is perfect. I am looking to get another Idea 16 for my brother. Great drone, great company to deal with.

I got a defective one
I can control it while it is within say 30 ft. some place further out, I loose control. it just takes off and I have no control. I went into both units and extended the antenna length., thinking that it is weak RF signal. The wind came up so I haven't retested. I guess it is. "Get What You Pay For." The support is the real problem. Or should I say, "Lack of support" I received no help from Idea12 or Amazon. With the extended antenna I now get almost (WAIT FOR IT ) 50 feet.at best. I'll never buy from that seller again. Suggest that others save their money and NOT buy from IDEA12.
