Really makes cleaning easy and does a great job

I absolutely love this product. When I go to the range I usually shoot 250 to 300 rounds, depending on the caliber I shoot that day. Always breaks up the powder residue and most if not all the copper fouling(I clean the day of shooting). A friend was recently gifted a Kimber from a family member. It was very clear his uncle was not very keen on cleaning. It hadn't been cleaned in probably 2 years. The bore was full dry built powder fouling and heavy copper. It easily defeated the powder and got most of the copper fouling. I'm 100% sold on this product.

I used gunslick pro foaming bore cleaner in the past and it did wonders for removing both carbon and copper fouling in one swoop. I couldn’t find it anywhere on Amazon in stock so I settled on this after reading some reviews. It works “okay” for removing carbon fouling but I was less than impressed with its ability to remove copper fouling like the gunslick pro. I don’t shoot many rounds between cleanings, at most 20 rounds since my barrel is still in the late stages of break-in. I have to use at least two cleanings with this Otis bore cleaner before I start seeing real cleaning results and I have to follow it up with a legitimate copper cleaner (pro shot) to feel satisfied with the barrel being clean. Overall, it does a decent job for what it’s intended for but I won’t buy it again. Gunslick pro is what I will revert back to next time. Gonna try boretech eliminator for a non-foaming cleaner as well.
