SingerInstant Hem Tape, 3/4-Inch by 15-Foot

I got these to shorten a couple pairs of pants. It works great and is so easy. It’s holding up well so far but I have not washed the pants yet since I put the tape on

I needed last-minute pants hem adjustments before a trip and hoped this tape would last one or two wears. It did that and more. I’ve washed the pants, and the tape is still holding.It couldn’t be easier. Highly recommend.

This fabric tape is easy to use once. you can get the proctective film removed. Because the protective film is so thin it's time consimeinf to remove. The adhesive works great.

I was hoping this would work to adhere Girl Scout badges to a sash, but no luck. The tape will stick to the badge, but not to the sash. (Although I'm not sure I could peel it off the badge either.) Definitely for temporary applications where tape removal is not a priority.

I ruined a $2,000 gown with this stuff.Specifically purchased this tape because it was “removable”; I borrowed the dress from a friend who is a few inches taller than me and needed a temporary adjustment to the length. This seemed to fit the bill perfectly —and my hope was that it would keep the dress in better condition by not poking holes with safety pins.In terms of application and stability, it worked great — but the removal has been the bane of my existence, and my latest attempt to get it off (after trying four different methods, I resorted to goo gone) ruined the fabric of the lining. This is obviously a nightmare scenario as I now have to explain to the friend from whom I’ve borrowed, and come up with a replacement solution.So yes, it is a tape that provides a hem, and in that way it lives up to its promise. But buyer beware: be prepared to give your item a permanent hem because the gunk from this tape is *never* coming off of whatever fabric it touches.

Bought a pair of linen pants for a summer engagement party and my tailor was on vacation. I applied this and it held up perfectly for the event. Will be taking them to the tailor now, but it certainly worked as advertised, and no ironing.

Do better with double stick tape and take off when you sew.

I got this tape to use for some of my new linen pants.I ironed the hem to shorten them, applied this double sided hem tape, and wore the pants.Before washing, I peeled off the tape, so that the pants could shrink if they wanted to - one pair shrunk to the perfect length.Another pair shrunk a little.By not doing a permanent sewn hem, I can wear my pants with high heels, OR iron up the hem and use this tape to wear the pants with flats.

Works very well. Used to turn up some heavy curtains so the bottom no longer drags on the floor.
