Good
I’m going to be brutally honest about this book and the fact it should have been around 300 pages and not over 600 pages.I do understand Misha and how he never wants to feel the pain of loss after losing his only brother and the grief he feels as he blames himself. I also understand he explained to Paige he could never love her and their marriage is a business deal. However did he have to be a brutal as he was at times, he was just downright nasty & cruel to Paige many times.I love how Paige is strong and stands up to his BS and knew she was marrying for security rather than love, however the amount of times she holds that pendant and mentions Clara’s death was really really annoying. If I were to go back and read how many times she mentions Clara and her death and missing her it would probably equate to over 50 pages and I’m not joking.I have read a few of this authors books and enjoyed them and never felt the repetition I did with this book. Also their arguments were the same every time they argued, “I won’t be owned” and “I will protect you” it was all said so many times this is why this book should have been around 300/320 pages and no more.I did however like Misha & Paige when they were civil and enjoying spending time with each other, yes some of the sex scenes are spicy but I’m sorry no man has a 🍆 the size of a forearm so don’t exaggerate this please, you can say he is big without going OTT.I will read book 2 as I’m invested and I am enjoying the back story of what’s happening within the Brava and wondering why Maksim & Petyre became enemies.

Really enjoyable.
I got sucked into this world after a couple of pages, I couldn’t put it down, and it’s a long book. Mafia romance is a genre I’ve never really had a lot to do with, but just from reading the blurb on this one I was really intrigued, I’m pleased to say it didn’t disappoint. My only complaint is I just wish they’d get their act together, I know it the whole point of the book, but after 600 pages of Misha’s “I can’t get too close to her, it hurts too much to loose people you love, and Paige’s “I need to distance myself from him, I can’t let myself have feelings for him”, I was starting to pull my hair out. They are both interesting characters and it’s obvious there is a lot more to come and a lot more secrets to unravel in the next book. This book ends on a cliffhanger, so I can’t wait to start the next one.

An Entertaining read.
A good book with interesting characters and a good storyline, Paige down on her luck starving and cold happens to meet Misha Orlov not being aware of who he is, their attraction is instant and the chemistry off the scales. Lots happens between these two and the story keeps you on the edge. A great read can't wait to get into the next part.

Another great book from Nicole Fox
I was totally hooked on this story from the start. The chemistry between Misha and Paige is hot. Once I started reading I couldn’t stop, so every opportunity I had the kindle came out.I just wish these two would admit how they feel for one another. Misha is not one for showing feelings, his position makes him hard and although he is caring towards Paige he need to admit his love for her and let her in.Fantastic read can’t wait for the next one.

Decent read
For a Bratva book, it isn't half bad. There is a lot of back and forth between the two main characters. Should they, shouldn't they? But that's the build-up, I suppose. I hope book two has a little more action, though.
