I usually go for aquilla strings but I had a Uke I was using through an effects pedal and it was sounding a bit too shrill. So for the price these were worth a try. I am now a convert to Ernie Ball, the black strings do look cool 😎 but the sound is excellent, they do take a bit longer to settle in to stay I tune but after a week they are settling down and stay in tune through out play. The added bonus is they are ball end, I have ukes with peg, tie and slot fittings. I’ve used these now on both peg and slot with no issue. No reason why not to use on a tie bridge as you can slide the ball off and tie off. So would I recommend... cool look, great sound, easy fit, stay tuned, great price... hell yeah. I’m now on my second set for a second Uke of mine.

I can't comment on the longevity yet but they do feel like they will be ok for that. After a while you get a sense for how long a string will last and these do feel quite nice. It's hard to keep them in tune but I've experienced that with every set of nylon strings I've ever purchased. The only problem I had with them is the string that's labelled to be strung on the 1st or 3rd string seems way to thick to be used as the 3rd. When you put it in place and tighten it to an E it just feels way to tight and the 2nd string (the D string) feels way to lose. So I swapped them in the end which works much better and sounds much better.

Good value for money. The ball ends (well, not so much balls but toggles), help with installing on through bridge designs so no fiddly knots but as you see with my ukuele, they work for tie bridges great (and inside packet it notes for slot bridges just cut the toggle off and tie a figure-of-eight). They had plenty of length and feel very similar to Aquilla nylgut strings but have s really nice mellow dark tone. They also look cool in matte black and really pop on lighter wood instruments. I'm using on my very very bouncy and lively spalted maple concert which needed a lot (a LOT) of calming down in tome due to that wood and these have really made it more subtle without losing volume or sustain. Just mellowed the snappy chirp it would give at times. So yeah, I'd buy again.

I've always had Aquila strings on my ukes but gave these nylon strings a go just over a year ago and have since converted to them on all my ukes. They sound a good bit brighter and with more punch than my Aquilas. They have ball ends too, which makes it much more simple to install with no need for making loops at the bridge (although you can still do that if so inclined) and they look great on my Noah Monkeypod Concert. Just ordered another set of them!

They sound good. The ball ends are great for my instrument. They look cool in black. I didn't have to spend ages turning my geared tuning heads to get the ukelele tuned in and there was loads of length leftover. So far I'm waiting for them to stop stretching. I'll let you know how they do later on.

These come well packaged to keep the strings in top condition during sale period. The ball ends make fitting easy or you can cut them off to tie the ends if you prefer, which I did. Like all new strings they have to be returned quite often initially but then they play nicely. I would buy these again when the time comes

Thin strings, which for me don't sound rich or sustain their resonance. They are easy to tune, that only took 2 days to lock in. Black in colour and have "ball" ends which for me were tubes not balls for the hiding and holding of the strings knot that ties off the end. Which for my uke are hidden inside the body of the uke itself. Being g thinner than the strings I'm used to by other brands, they were easy to thread through the uke body holes and into the tuning pegs. But sadly playing my uke, the sound wasn't up to par.

Habe die Saiten auf eine selbst gebaute Tenor-Ukulele aufgezogen, was aufgrund er Ball-Ends super einfach geklappt hat. Dadurch entfiel das lästige verknoten der Saiten an der Brücke. Es hat einige Zeit gedauert , bis die Saiten ihre Stimmung gehalten haben (was aber auch typisch ist für Nylon-Saiten), doch jetzt klingen sie sehr schön. Weder dumpf noch übertrieben hell. Fast so, als wäre es eine Spran-Ukulele, nur mit mehr Platz auf dem Griffbrett :-). Tolle Saiten!

Good quality of strings but would rather have labels say which note and what string is. As 1st string can be understood as either top or bottom. For someone who has never changed strings before, this wasn’t as straightforward as it should be.
