My son has a hard time with soccer socks because they are often difficult to get up and over the shin guards, they can feel tight and stiff. These socks are stretchy and comfortable - they go over the shin guards easily. They are also not bulky in the toes, which we also find with other socks - which makes it hard to get cleats or sneakers on. My son liked the feel of them right away, and he is quick to let you know when he doesn't like something:)

Bought these socks to match a costume for my daughter. I was impressed with the thickness and softness of the socks. The quality was great. However, I feel they run large. My daughter wears a girls 2, and they were huge on her - the heel was up her ankle. They shrunk a tiny bit after washing, but definitely take sizing into consideration if you require a proper fit.
