GREAT experience, i’ll be back!
i ordered from northern california and it was delivered the following evening to my friends in the u.k.. after i received the order review survey i asked my friend for his feedback and told him to be honest - he couldn’t hurt my feelings as we’d raised teenagers. his reply: “I love macaroons and they were great!!! (Sorry couldnt wait) (wife’s name) enjoyed them as well! The Genoa cake, very much like Christmas cake but better!! Curious how the tea will be but a very nice box: deffo not standard!!! The entire gift is deffo 5 stars!!!” from my end, ordering and delivery was a snap. thanks for the great experience, i’ll be back next year!

Nice Variety, but Some Items Felt Quite Sweet
This is a pleasant selection with a good mix of biscuits, cakes, jam, and tea. Everything feels very traditional and suitable for an afternoon tea, and it’s clear there’s been thought put into offering a range of flavours and textures. The strawberry jam and breakfast tea were probably the most enjoyable parts for me simple, classic, and easy to appreciate. The biscuits and almond thins were also nice with tea, although some of them leaned a bit on the sweet side. A few items, like the macarons and flapjack, felt richer than expected, so it depends on your personal taste. Overall, it’s a decent assortment if you’re looking for a traditional English style treat, but not everything stood out equally for me. Some items were enjoyable, while others were just okay. A solid option, but with room for improvement in balance and variety.
