This is my second laser measuring device. This one is nicer in that it also includes built-in levels if you need that kind of alignment accuracy. Multiple display modes: great. The only maybe-negative is that the default for whether the measurement is from the front or back of the device is always form the back. This is probably as it should be since most measurements will likely be made with the base of the unit flat against one surface, the beam shooting from the other end toward the second surface. I think the other unit I own actually lets you change what the power-on setting is. (sort of like the "add 2 inches" they mark on tape measures...) Overall, no complaints, love it, love the price.

I am an engineer, had many of these tools before, and still wasted an hour trying to figure out how to change the unit of measure. The few lines of "documentation" tells you to do something that doesn't work. No documentation on line. And before you know it, for a few bucks more, you can get something descent.

This is easy to use. The manual is very tiny, but I didn't have any issues seeing the letters while wearing my readers. The measurements seem accurate based on my doing a couple of small tests. The biggest problem is that the manual doesn't tell you everything so you have to play around and figure it out. Overall this is a great buy for the price.

Not impressed or happy with it. Eats batteries if you do not take them out after every use.

Product was not as expected nor was it accurate. Would definitely not purchase again.
