compared to vinyl/PVC or polyeurthene tubing, the premium you pay for silicone is worth it IMO. This 5/16" ID x 1/2" OD tubing has thick walls and resistant to kinking. The packaging the tubing arrived in was good and didn't tightly pack the tubing together and cause dents or kinks. There's no chemical smells. Perfect for my fish tank.

very nice hose, works well with the heat of an under sink instant water heater.

I bought this to try to distill water out of my instant pot. For that purpose I don’t recommend this, but it did its job, handled the best, etc.
