BristanZI SHXSMCT C Zing Cool Touch Thermostatic Bar Shower with Single Mode Kit & Standard Connections

I had my old metal Bristan shower and it developed a leak, so I was looking to replace it. I came over this cheaper alternative and decided to give it a go. I'm positively surprised by the quality. Installation was very easy with correct adjustable spanner. It allowce to change favourite temperature set. This showe has came with 5 years warranty, so even if it'll fail after that time and will go and replace it with another identical one as the price paid is no brainer.

Spoilt for choice, I knew I wanted a British brand, designed and made in the UK for added piece of mind. Having never fitted a shower valve before, I needed the simple option. This looked perfect. I simply removed the two bolts, checked the seals and replaced with the new one. Job took about 5-10 minutes max.I kept the existing back fittings, as it was only my valve that needed changing. I didn't need to adjust the temperature, but the instructions are clear if I need to.The finish is perfect and I have zero leaks or issues.If you are wondering whether or not to buy this shower, just do it and I know you will not be disappointed

I purchased this to replace an old Bristan shower. Fortunately, and as originally hoped, this shower had the same centres as the pipes plumbed into the wall, meaning it was a straight swap. Took 5 minutes.The kit does come with some adjusters centres so double check you old shower before buying.This has a very sleek design, unlike my previous shower. The body also stays cold when on.Only issue I found is the temperature adjustment is on the opposite side to my old Bristan, meaning I've accidentally ended up with cold water when trying to turn the shower off.Anyway, great value for money, cheaper than buying replacement parts!

Have had two zing shower bars before and after a couple of years they have failed. First was fitted by the builder and lasted 5 years before failing and the second I got lasted three years before failure. This time, the bar sent has the temp control on the cold side, which I hope will mean less wear on the cartridge. The design has been improved, more stylish and the control to turn the water on and off has been made to be a lighter touch, which is good for those with less strength. Happy with this, 58 pounds, can;t really go wrong. Took me 5 mins to fit. Water off, old one off, new on one, water on and done!

We have this in a stand-alone shower and I agree with other reviews which mention the low flow rate. It looks good, it's useable, but at a much lower flow rate than our other shower. I wish I'd known about this before purchasing. Otherwise it looks good and is ok, just a bit poor on the flow.

Had to replace our thermostatic bar as the tap was worn and wasn’t gripping. It was 10years+ old so a good brand just bought another to replace it.Great flow of water and thermostat allows you to select the perfect temperature. Easy installation and water back on within 20mins and I’m not really a DIYer but I refused to pay a tradesman ridiculous money to ft it!

Ok for the price, the hot & cold markings and on off markings are barely visible - plumber found it easy enough to install

Mine is so hot now that I can barely take a shower. I've tried adjusting it but there doesn't seem to be ab adjustment, just alignment of knob
