Just for Kids: Christmas Collection (Piano Solo): The Christmas Piano Book

I was able to teach my 7 year old 3 of the pieces from this book throughout December. She is a beginner who will be taking grade 1 in 2025 and I would say the pieces in this book are grade 1 standard. There are a couple that could be bordering on grade 2 but overall they are easy. The arrangements sound as you'd hope they would and there are some little christmas activities throughout the book for the kids. I'm not sure the activities are adding much value to the book but it does make use of the white space that would otherwise be there. If you're looking for a book that has some easy to play christmas songs, whether kids.or adults, I can definitely recommend this one.

Very nice book but a bit hard for pre-grade 1. More like post-grade 1 standard. Also would have been nice to have the words to the songs printed in the book.

This book will serve you all the way from your very first piano Christmas right through to grade 3 and beyond. I have adult pupils who really enjoy it, so it's not "just for kids" as it misleadingly claims on the cover! The perfect pre-Christmas gift for any piano learner of any age.

Bought for my son (7) to start using for piano but it doesn’t have note letters on which for kids I thought it would. It also includes word searches etc which seem a bit out of place for a music book really. It states pre-grade1 on cover but don’t remember that in description

Good book for beginners I am sure it will be appreciated next Christmas time. Not as easy as expected initially.

I needed the music for a particular Christmas soong for our pianist to play at assembly, and this book had it.

Although this is for kids, but it's good for adult beginners to learn.
