I bought this bonnet originally to use while sleeping to keep my curly hair frizz-free. It’s perfect for this purpose. The band is soft, wide, and stretchy, and it holds my thick, longer than shoulder-length, fluffy, curly hair perfectly. The bonus with this band is that I can pull it down over my eyes and use it simultaneously as an eye mask to keep light out. I’ve used so many eye masks, because I need total darkness to sleep, and had never found the perfect one that doesn’t slip, is super soft, and also doesn’t put pressure on my eyes. Well, this bonnet does all those things! I lent it one day to my husband who wanted to take a daytime nap and he loved it, too. So I bought another for him. By the way, my head is maybe slightly smaller than average, and my husband’s head is definitely larger than average. Due to the stretchiness of the fabric, the bonnet fits both our heads. I bought a third one to use in the shower. It’s not actually water proof but it still keeps water off my hair and it air dries quick enough. The only bad thing I’ve had happen is that about 2” of threads came loose on one of them in the wash. So now I just hand wash. Takes 2 minutes.

This cap is well made. This is stitched well and the fabric, a heavier weight charmeuse, is soft and silky. This is double-sided and fully reversible. I purchased the leopard/black bonnet and it is really cute.The cap portion is big and poofy and fits a lot of hair. The band is made of stretchy sportswear fabric. I have a smaller head and this falls down my nose overnight. (My husband calls me the Swedish Chef. 🤣) It doubles as an eye mask so I don't mind.I have waist length wavy hair that takes forever to blow out. Wearing this bonnet overnight, I wake up with smooth, shiny straight hair instead of the knots and tangles I have without it. This was a good purchase.

It’s good for really thick hair and the headband area is just right

I wouldn't buy this again, but that also doesn't mean I don't hate it. The bonnet is too big for my head, so it doesn't stay put when I sleep. Sometimes I wake up to it off my head, but it's still on the bottom of my hair, containing some of it. It isn't adjustable, the only way for me to fix this is to sew it tighter. I'm not doing that. However, the elastic in it is comfortable. I have worn this for hours while awake. When awake, this works well. I plan to buy a better bonnet for sleeping and use this one for deep conditioning. For reference I have long thick hair with loose curls and waves.

Use this to sleep all the time and I’ve noticed my curls don’t get messed up as fast when I sleep with this on

This bonnet is perfect for my boyfriend since he has some longer locks and needs them out of his face and he likes how it stays on all throughout the night.
