Works as designed. Sturdy, made of aluminum so it will not rust. Good product. No problem mounting to solar panel to gutter.

No More Climbing Ladders

Works perfectly with my Ring solar panel
This worked perfectly with my Ring solar panel. Comes with an adapter mount for the solar panel. I didn’t need the Ring brand’s gutter mount (because the Ring camera was mounted separately about 20 feet away), so this mount was better suited for my purposes. Easy to install. Highly recommend. Combined with a Tusita 10 ft USB Extension Cable (which is outdoor rated and compatible with Ring devices). Great value for the money. Very sturdy.

Great - but flimsy mounting bracket.
The provided mounting hardware is flimsy, plastic that didn’t seem like it would hold up to various climate conditions. I had to buy a Gutter Mount that is made of metal and very easy to install. Also, wish there was a built in place to store excess cord.

Useful item for Ring solar panel mount
What a great find - this nifty bracket allows me to mount my Ring solar panel to the gutter edge instead of having to bolt it into the siding (as I had to do w/my last one). It's for just one setup but you get 2 brackets, nice to have a spare, I guess. Set up is relatively easy, although I did have to fiddle with the ball-to-panel bit that allows the angle adjustments, it kept slipping loose which is not ideal. That happened again when I was mounting it to the gutter but now I've got it settled I'm hoping it'll stay. It took a while to get the screws tight enough to the gutter and I had to hold it down to keep it from popping up. It'd probably be easier/faster if you're mounting it to a beam/fence rail. The same thing happened with one of these I got for my camera too, tho, so I was prepared for it & planned ahead by getting the angle set as close as possible before putting it onto the gutter. It would likely be easy for someone to pull the whole thing right off, with or w/o unscrewing the mount so I'd consider that in deciding placement. Yes you'll have a great pic of the idiot who stole it but you'd also be out a pricey security device. This is absolutely worth the price, especially if you're not able/allowed to mount the devices directly onto your wall, etc.
