My hair dye had been fading very quickly at my hairline and my hair stylist told me that the cleansing products I use on my face, fade and strip the hair dye, especially products with very common acids in them (like salicylic acid, glycolic acid, lactic acid, etc). So I needed a hairband to protect my hair during face washing. This is the best headband ever!!! It does NOT slip or slide no matter which way to turn my head. It’s not cotton material so it’s not absorbent but being polyester, it does repel water and is considered water-resistant. It does its job because it doesn’t let the water and face cleanser through to my hair, and dries very quickly (I hung it on my towel hook and it dried in about 1 hr). It’s very soft, stretchy and the elastic is not tight to where it’s uncomfortable. I tried the other headbands with Velcro and they all slide upward and don’t hold, but this headband is perfect!! I love it and will buy more just to have backups in case they ever discontinue it.

This works so well to fight tightly around your head and keep your hairline from getting wet, unlike the terry cloth headbands. It also will hold all of your hair in it while washing your face so you don’t need to use a hair tie or worry about your hair falling forward and getting wet. It’s a pretty large headband. It’s really cute, very elastic on both ends so the durability lasts awhile, and for all it can do, the price is affordable. Plus, it can be washed easily so it helps pay for itself in many ways.

I love this spa headband by Kitsch! It's super wide & can cover essentially all of my hair. The material is thick and soft. Stays in place well - tight, but not too tight. I wear it around the house just to keep my hair pulled back and out of my face. I like it because it doesn't pull the curl out of my hair and my hair still looks nice after I take it off. I even wore it while out for a walk yesterday to keep my ears warm. Sometimes I tuck all of my hair inside and wear it to bed instead of my silk sleeping cap. I have purchased more for my mom and sister. Great value for the money!

This cap works great! I got it to wear in the sauna. Keeps my hair dry, only thing is I have to use a scrunchy to close the hole in the other side. Do wish it had a way to close it. Other than that works great and is really soft!

I gifted this headband to my sister, who is significantly cognitively delayed, and has an abundance of sensory issues. It was an excellent gift. The quality of the headband is excellent. My sister has extremely thick hair (my three hair tie loops measure against her two loops for a ponytail), and this headband was able to cover all of it. I think it’ll provide excellent protection for her hair when doing her skincare routine. My sister is also very petite, with a small head, so we can’t speak to the size other than to say she did not think it was too tight. I highly recommend!

Many conflicting reviews. Too thin. Too thick. Too wide. Not wide enough. Too snug. Won’t stay on. I think it’s just personal preference. For me it’s perfect. Keeps my hair in place even in the shower. Well made. Super soft.
