I was looking for something to stop my oldest from slamming the doors on her little sister & these work perfectly. I didn’t want something that I had to take on & off though, like the traditional foam ones because knowing me I would lose it or my kids would get a hold of it & ruin it. I love that I can just turn it when my kids are taking a nap or going down for the night & close the door.

My daughter really loved watching Lilo & Stitch and it was great until she started copying behaviors she saw. One of them being slamming the door. Well after a week of slamming and stressing out about her slamming the door on her little sisters fingers I decided to do something about it! I bought this and installed it, super easy installation by the way, and it immediately corrected the behavior. She was confused at first because the slamming noise didn’t follow after she would “slam” the door. I’m assuming the lack of satisfaction and noise took away the excitement, either way, she stopped doing it and we can finally enjoy our days without the sound of doors slamming against the door frame.

It works, but the hand design is not efficient. Most of the real estate is not used when the door is closed (such as the little fingers). It’s fun to look at but probably could be smaller and more sleek looking yet still functional. The hand design makes the house look a little silly.

Great for my classroom door! This way I can keep my door locked and shut it easily when needed, but also hold it open for easy entry!

This is a fantastic product. I have a 2.5 yr old that loves to slam doors and a 12 month old that doesn't need squished fingers. We tried the cheap foam things first but they eventually get bent and therefore cannot serve their purpose for long. I love that you can also put this back up so that you can close the door at night. This product has been slammed over and over and hasn't budged.

Used them to prevent tiny fingers from being slammed in the door. Works perfectly, on bedroom doors.

There is only 2 hands in an order!!! At 25 dollars they seem to work at others doors but I’m sending mine back. And continue looking.

Best money I’ve spent in ages. Put them up high so child can’t reach them. My son would get up in the night to slam doors. These are softer plastic. Not only did I NOT hear him but, he gave up and stopped trying altogether! Very pleased with this item!
