The design of this is stronger than those other wrap-around style carports. It also looks much better as well. Those are the pluses for this one. On the downside - unlike other products in this price range, this company tacks on an extra $99 for shipping, so it's really a $600 item, apple to apples. Mine arrived in three undamaged boxes, but six of the main beams were damaged (bent, dented, scratched and creased). Since the boxes were undamaged, the parts were damaged prior to shipping, but shipped anyway. I contacted the seller and they offered a nominal partial refund as they said getting me replacement parts, "would take a very long time....." Keep in mine that you can order and receive a complete unit in a week, but they can't replace the parts in a timely manner. I wasn't ever able to get them to define, "a very long time" as it seems they just wanted to settle the matter via a minimal partial refund. Had this unit arrived undamaged, or if I were able to get replacement parts, I would have given it a 4-5 star rating

I cannot say enough good things about this carport! We're using it for a roof over our backyard deck. It arrived way ahead of schedule and everything was packaged very well. There were no damaged or missing parts. Everything was labeled and the instructions were easy to follow. It took my husband and son only 8 hours to complete from start to finish. It's quite sturdy and it looks so nice too. We just moved into our new home and many of our new neighbors were impressed with it's look and quality. This was such a great purchase and at a fantastic price. It should last for many years to come.

First time buying one of these carports. It went together pretty easy. Some of the pieces were scuffed. Its not galvanized but painted metal. Hopefully it will last. The posts have thin metal. And the screws are thin. You only get one concrete anchor bolt per post, so a bought more. I had to upgrade a few other bolts and added a few roofing washers, and cut down a few other bolts. The price was Ok for what you get. Luckily there weren't any missing pieces.

Great little carport, I didn't expect it to be of such good quality considering the cost. The instructions were pretty clear however it is a 3 man job. The only complaint I have is that it needs a little bracing as shown in the picture.
