Wera05072401001 Phillips Extra-Tough Bits 851/1 Z PH2 x 25 mm, Pack of 10

I bought these Phillips bits to remove a door and window and replace it with French doors. My old bits simply shattered on the masonry screws. These were tough and did not shatter, whereas the replacements from my local DIY store did.The case is a nice feature, snapping shut to keep the bits safe. It’s small and compact too.Make sure you have the correct size bit or else you will damage the bit or strip the head off the screw, especially if using a power driver which can cause the bit to raise out of the screw head, and make sure the screws are not Posidrive as they are likely to strip the screw heads.

Seem to be OK and last a reasonable time. Why cant these things be made out of a harder material?

Fantastic for all them little screws in flatpack furniture even though it says no power tools( low torque setting on impact, im a rebel). Did about 100 screws with same insert. Wera are quality.

It's been a long search for a PH2 bit that can withstand the rigours of my trusty Makita impact drivers. I've been through all of the "premium" brands of specific impact driver bits and none of them have come close to matching the performance of these Wera bits even though they are not intended for impact drivers. They are even better than Wera's own bi-torsion bits, and cheaper too!I've managed three boxes of 50mm drywall screws (that's around 3000 screws) on one bit so far into both soft and hard timber. The result up to now is some slight scratching of the bit surface but no loss of shape.Thanks Wera :)

Da mir mein PH 1 Bit verloren gegangen ist, benötigte ich Ersatz.Diese hier sind sehr hochwertig und geben beim schnellen Schrauben mit dem Akkuschrauber ein gutes Gefühl. Der Name Wera spricht bei Werkzeug für sich. Ich wurde bisher nie enttäuscht.Ich habe mit den ersten Bits bereits mehrere hundert Verschraubungen angezogen und gelöst. Bisher kann ich keine Ermüdungserscheinungen feststellen, obwohl ich auch manchmal über die schrauben drüber gerutscht bin.Der Grip und die Maßgenauigkeit der Bits ist hervorragend.Die Verpackung in der Kunststoffbox ist praktisch zur Aufbewahrung.Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Produkt und würde es wieder kaufen.
