Amazing yoga mat that might not last forever.
I've been practicing yoga with Manduka mats for a long time and the liforme mat improved my practice significantly. The alignment system works. The grip is truly phenomenal. When I practice hot yoga I sweat a lot and the grip is flawless for the whole class. The one downside .... it seems that it stains easily and that It won't last forever.

Good quality Yoga mat
Overall I am pleased with the Liforme mat. I had hoped to get it in the orange or yellow, but those colors were unavailable. I usually use a yoga rug on my yoga mats and I have been able not use one with this mat, it is truly non-slip. The alignment system I think would be useful for some one who is new to yoga. The only reason I give it a 4 star instead of a 5 is that it is a bit pricy.... I have lululemon, Jade and Manduka mats and this mat is even quite a bit more expensive than these other premium brands. So if you have a committed practice this might be a goos investment, but if you are just getting started its a LOT to spend on a mat.

Love this mat for sweaty hot yoga!
I've been on the fence about shelling out this much for a yoga mat, but after trying FIVE other mats from Amazon, I'm a LifeForme believer. For reference, I'm a relative yoga beginner, but I've been taking 10-12 classes a week for the past 4 months ranging from vinyasa to Bikram hot. This mat has just the right amount of cushioning without being 'gushy'. I found that mats that were too thick were too hard to do balancing postures. I also prefer just the center line and the vertical lines. I had purchased two other mats with the diagonal lines and found the lines to be mentally distracting. Every posture became 'are my feet or hands lined up with something' and I should have been focused on breathing. The center line is all I need for correct placement. The other thing I like about this mat is that is stays put on the floor, and absolutely does not get slick once I start sweating in Bikram class.A couple of things to note: this mat is heavier than your average yoga mat, but it's much lighter than the much cheaper 'knock off' version. You will also need to unroll this mat to let it dry after a hot yoga class. (It dries within 3-4 hours).I still wish this mat were cheaper, but all in all, I'm very happy with this purchase. Namaste :)

Thin! Heavy! Lot's of drag! But it doesn't stink.
Oh my gosh. My wrists, hands and hip bones felt like I was directly on the hard yoga studio floor. Granted there is no slip, but there is no slidding of feet either. I can say that the bag is nice and the mat did not smell. But it is awfully thin. And heavy. Dense perhaps, but still TOO thin.

I'm glad I spent the money!!
Ok, I was kind of freaked out by the price of this mat, but when I thought about all the cheap mats I have purchased that are collecting dust, I decided to go for it. I am extremely pleased! The traction was my main interest, and it can't be beat. I really didn't think I wold use the alignment markings, but then I did find myself checking on my positions, and i love them! I researched all of the top rated mats before I bought this one. The contender said it had to be treated with salt or some such to get rid of the slipperiness out of the box. Not this one! You will be ready to go! I WILL say that sometimes I will put it over another mat for the hard wood floor if I am doing a lot of kneeling poses. It is not very cushioned. Nevertheless, the traction is what I was looking for.

Far and away the best yoga mat I could find
I almost never write reviews. I only write one when I'm over the moon about a product. This is the case with the Lifeform yoga mat. This is really the best yoga mat I found. And I tried out all the top U.S. brands. My new Lifeforme replaced a yoga mat a friend brought home for me from New Zealand 20 years ago! Why did I keep this mat for 20 years? Because I couldn't find a new mat that I liked as much. Not until a friend turned me onto Lifeforme. It's just the right amount of sticky and the size is perfect (I'm 5'5", average build) I much prefer the minimal marking on the EVOLVE vs the original mat. If you practice even only once a week, I think this mat is well worth the investment. I couldn't recommend it more highly. Happy practicing.

Great mat!
If you practice any kind of hot yoga this is the best mat out there... it absorbs sweat without getting slick or slippery. It's a little more expensive than I would normally spend on a mat, but if you have a regular hot practice it's well worth the extra money. I've always used a Lulu mat with a towel, but had issues with the towel bunching up or sliding around- no towel needed with this mat. Cleaning is quick and easy, so no issues there. It is a little heaver than other mats I own, but not a big deal. Only sorry I didn't find this one sooner!

Best mat I’ve ever tried with great slip-control for your fingers/toes
I’ve been doing yoga since 1994 and I’ve had many mats. There are several high-quality mats that I could be happy with but I must admit that this one is the best, so far. You don’t need a towel and you will not slip. I love the grip that your fingers and feet get while you’re moving through your poses. The hardest part of having a towel with that it would gather and twist and move during my practice. I don’t have that problem anymore with this matter. Even my husband loves it! This is worth every penny. I promise.

Well worth it!
This arrived two days after ordering - I wasn’t expecting it for a week, so that was a good start. But was it worth the money? It’s an expensive mat - and it’s just a mat, right? Well, yes it is just a mat but the quality is evident from the moment the box arrives. It comes in a quality carry bag and is quite heavy compared to other mats but the grip and support it gives are superb. The alignment aids are surprisingly useful, both the centre line and the foot/hand markings.I can’t recommend this mat highly enough. It has transformed my yoga practice by allowing me to fully trust my hand and foot placement in, say, ‘down dog’ which on my previous mat had a tendency to slide. If you’re loving your yoga love yourself a little bit more and treat yourself to this mat; you won’t regret it.

Definitely worth the money.
Well, it’s certainly expensive, but completely worth it. Tried cheaper mat first but after 3 sessions of yoga which were actually made more difficult by cheap mat, it was time to try liforme. Researched online and it had so many good reviews I thought it must be worth it. Initially it feels too firm, but when you actually stand on it and do yoga, it is perfectly spongy and soft. Gripping enough so your feet don’t slide or slip, but not too much. If you’re serious about yoga then it’s worth investing in the best mat.

I've been converted
Where do I start...I started a training programme beginning of February which consists of stretching and body weight exercises. I had purchased a relatively cheap mat to use and quickly found myself sliding not only around the mat but around the room, I looked online and noticed how impressive this mat sounded so I weighed it all up with the cost of it as I thought it was pretty expensive for a mat and eventually ordered it. When the mat arrived I was impressed with how the mat and the carry case looked and also how good the quality was, I've only used the mat for a week so far but already my form during stretching and exercise has improved tremendously as my feet and hands do not slide at all (even when wet off sweat) which means I can put everything into my workouts instead of sliding around. Very happy with the product and realised it's worth every penny.

Great mat!
I needed a non slip mat to do Vinyasa yoga and this meets all my expectations. It's not the cheapest yoga mat but it delivered in length, grip and looks very stylish. I also love the lines which helps me during yoga practice. The mat is heavy but comes in a robust bag for carrying. Overall very pleased.

Worth the investment
Great grip, good cushioning when practicing inversions and I really like the pared back alignment pattern. I thought the original would be too distracting and I am pleased I opted for the evolve. An expensive mat but seems worth the money. You just need to take into account the potential “life” as opposed to others but there are a number of benefits. For me grip is most important as I practice Ashtanga Yoga.
