Easy to Install and Effective Cooling for M.2 SSD
The heatsink was very easy to attach to my device. The process was straightforward, and it comes with a thermal pad to help pull heat away from the SSD efficiently. A key tip: do not remove the manufacturer sticker on your SSD, as this will void your warranty, and the heatsink works perfectly with the sticker intact. In terms of temperature performance, the heatsink makes a noticeable difference — my M.2 SSD runs around 10°C cooler than without it. This helps keep the drive stable and prolongs its lifespan during heavy use. Overall, this is a simple, practical, and cost-effective solution for anyone looking to improve their SSD cooling without any hassle.

BUDGET COOLER
This is a handy way to reduce the temperatures on you NVME for very little money. The cooler is well constructed and easy to assemble. I found temperatures would be reduced by about 5-10C depending on where the NVME is on the motherboard. If it gets some cooling from front fans, you get greater cooling.

It Just Works....
For the money, this is fantastic, big slab of heatsink, included thermal pads and dropped NVMe drive from 70 ish when downloading games to 37 degrees. Looks nice too.

Very good for the price
So you always take a gamble buying one of the cheapest of anything on Amazon. This has a remarkable level of build quality for the price, it's easy to install (took me less than 10 minutes), in terms of cooling the highest temps I was seeing before installation was 77°C and after I ran three stress tests in rapid succession the highest was 62°C. I ran the tests several times because it's quite a hefty chunk of aluminium and I wanted to be sure I saturated it with heat. Due to it's heft it holds on to the temperature for a while after heating up which means it takes a while for it to cool back down and it took a solid 10 minutes to get down to it's base temperature of 49°C (51°C before install), this is the reason I deducted one star. So my only concern is that it is more heat sink than heat spreader and it potentially could build in temperature under sustained load over long periods. But as it lost a single degree during the final stress test it looks like it dissipates the heat quickly enough that it won't continue to climb beyond 62°C (in my case). Hopefully that gives you some insight into what to expect

Cheap in price but not in quality.
Pads on them are a bit on the thin side for single side drives. You need thicker pads for single sides drives. This is so you can get some decent clamping pressure when you screw the two half’s together. If you don’t then it leaves an air gap and makes the heat sink pointless. Apart from that small oversight from Thermalright they are perfect for the job. They were able to keep my hot Western Digital Black drive under 45c and full load with some incidental air flow.

Easy to use, effective cooling.
Looks smart, does the job and cools effectively. Easy to install, 4 screws holds the top plate to the bottom and the nvme is just sandwiched in the middle on the cooling pads. Make sure to remove the plastic from the pads/putty, sandwich it together ensuring all chips and in the putty and screw back together and insert... Bobs ya uncle

A hidden gem and bargain
This cooler is an absolute bargain, high quality, easy to fit, contains no unnecessary "bling" which can just result in making it hard to fit or squeeze in and just works. My nvme drive idle temperatures reduced by nearly 10C after fitting and this was in a passive small unventilated case. With some moving air I could completely believe it would perform even better than this since it is quite weighty and has decent thermal mass for its dimensions and fins for increased surface area. I would highly recommend this cooler. Do not let its low price fool you it is high quality.

Cheap, efficient, and effective.
The assembly was very easy, and once completed, it felt very secure and sturdy. Temperatures when housing a Samsung 980 M.2 NVME were very respectable, never exceeding around 45-50 degrees when gaming. Overall its very thermally efficient, doesn't cost a great deal, and provides the performance Thermalright are known for.
