Bought as an interim measure between shoe and spd changeover. Used on a hybrid for 300-400 miles so far without any issue.

The bearings starting producing a horrible creaking sound after about 1 week of daily use. Thought the sound was something to do with the bikes bottom bracket until someone suggested it could be the pedals. Changed them and the noise stopped immediately.

I am a commuter so can't comment on how well this pedal copes with berms and downhill but it is much better at gripping my trainers than the free suppled pedals did.I didn't appreciate (because I am an idiot) how much metal spikes on pedals could shred the toe cap of shoes when constantly readjusting pedal positions at the lights ... I think I am learning a new way of doing this with the side of the shoe rather than the toe cap.I would happily recommend these pedals to any commuters starting to find their feet slipping off the pedals and who don't want to go clipped in ... Nice and wide pedal and the spikes provide plenty of grip for shoes to bind with so getting away from the lights is easy and pedalling with pretty much any foot position on the pedal transfers plenty of power.

This is a pedal made by HT the same as a Nukeproof Neutron (Also made by HT) Great pedals at a fraction of the cost of buying Nukeproof.

Lasted just over 6 months. Pedal detached from its rod due to a worn attachment, while riding. Pedal flew off and the rod jammed into my ankle. Pretty painful! Good for a cheap fix but they're not incredibly well put together.

I needed a new set of pedals for my road bike and I wanted these to be spiked as my nephews also use the bike and they woudln't be able to use my SPD's.Decided to search Amazon and these fit the bill perfectly.Once delivered I fit them and went 5 miles, feet were planted and had good stability throughout. I've not tried them in the web to see if they slide but they won't as they are semi spiked with a ridge.They came with extra spikes but I just binned them as they weren't needed.It took 2 mins to fit and they are very stable.Packaging makes these look as if they are 50 a pair and not how cheap I actually paid!

I added small M3 Nylon Locknuts and these pedals now feel and look great. My feet didn't slip off once during a 9 mile mtb ride. In my opinion, the threads are a little too sharp without them on & I didn't want my trainers cut into. I bought another pair for my other half, as we liked them so much. For £20, they are a good buy.
