Rimmel Scandal'Eyes Waterproof Eyeliner, Brown

Having used an alternative brand at 4 times the price this eyeliner punches way above it’s budget price and delivers quality and a creamy application that merits it standing amongst luxury brands.

Good colour & consistency. It goes on smoothly and stays in place all day. When I saw the plastic casing my heart sunk but I invested in a new sharpener which was recommended online and it's worked - with the tip going to a good point. They say to put the pencil in the 'fridge for a few minutes before sharpening to harden up the khol but I forgot to do this & it still sharpened well. Perhaps this is a tip for warmer weather. Good value and happy with the product.

I love the colour of this pencil and it has a nice texture for smooth application. It is also very good for sensitive eyes. However what I didn't realise was that the pencil was made of plastic and after only a few wears it appeared that I was going to have to throw it away as there did not appear to be anyway of propelling the tip forward. Also because it was made of plastic it didn't appear that you could use a pencil sharpener. I tried one of my normal eyeliner sharpeners but this had no effect at all. My husband then decided to try a good old fashioned sharpener used for colouring pencils. As long as you don't just poke it in and try and turn it but instead gently take a little bit off at a time it will in fact sharpen quite nicely. The trick is thin slivers and not try and remove a lot in one go. I've put a picture so that you can see that it is possible for all those people that haven't been able to sharpen theirs. Otherwise, I really love this pencil. 4 stars but only due to the sharpening.

My favourite eyeliner! Really easy to use, glides on smoothly, light metallic shimmer, easy to smudge if needed. I've bought four pencils, and will continue to buy more when needed.

I'm 87 and use it all the time

Does anyone else have trouble sharpening it? I’ve tried putting g it in the fridge but still the nib breaks and the plastic casing is really tough to get out of the sharpener! 3 stars for colour when I get it sharp!

At first I thought wow, great strong colour, very black indeed BUT after only using it 3x it needed sharpening and that was impossible. The outside is so tough and the pencil is so creamy soft that it made a huge mess 'in and over' the sharpener and my fingers. It clogged the pencil sharpener up completely and ended up in the bin.

Very nice kind of brown color with glitter😍🙌🏼 it’s a creamy texture so easy to put and high pigmented. It’s is a waterproof & smudge proof I really like it🙌🏼 next time i will order color black.
