CLIMSOM Double Mattress Topper Cooling and Warming, 140 x 190 cm, Mattress Topper Cool or to Replace Your Heated Blanket, Air Conditioning Your Bed

This is a considered purchase and I was a bit nervous of purchasing it. I am a Lady of a certain age and have only been getting about 4 ½ hours sleep per night (proven for over a year since purchasing a sleep monitor). Often getting so hot and throwing the covers off & on all night.I purchased the Climson Double, at first I tried 22 degrees C which was just too cold - over the next few nights I worked out that my ideal temperature was 26 degrees and 25 degrees on a very hot night. I do not feel the tubes in the sheet – so that is not an issue. There are lots of different programs in the unit – but as yet I have just switched it on when I go to bed and off when I wake up. Virtually immediately I started sleeping more – now averaging about 5 ½ hours a night & remaining under the covers all night – a miracle for me!!The only criticism I could have is that the electrical lead is not long enough to reach the top of my bed and I have had to buy an extension lead – (The fan is at the bottom of the bed and my electric socket at the top). It came with an English adapter plug. I decided to use bottled water as the other reviewer suggested. I have to add water to the unit about once a week – more if very hot weather. The fan is quiet. It also has a remote control – so no need to get out of bed if you want to change the temperature.I would highly recommend this product – what price a Good Nights Sleep!!

Climson staff were really quick with the delivery. I ordered on a Sunday and asked if they could post to me by the Friday and it arrived on the day. Really good from France to South West England.Not cheap but certainly makes for a comfortable nights sleep in the summer and was cheaper than climsons own website. Easy to use and cools the bed down within a few minutes before going to bed. I have an expensive memory foam mattress that gets hot during the night but what a difference using this topper. Downside is that the fan is a little annoying if you are a really light sleeper like me. Not noisy as such, but enough for me. Another issue is that the attachments aren't readily available. I wanted to order the extension pipe but it's out of stock, like several other items have been for several weeks from the Climson website. For really hot nights this topper doesn't cool quite enough but probably would do with the intense topper add on.
