Excellent magnets at a competitive price. Each magnet is perfectly sized in line with the description (very helpful when dropping into multiple exact sized holes) and provides the stated force of pull when used fully face to face. Due to their thin nature (1.5mm) they could be considered delicate if used incorrectly (without backing plate or structural support etc.) but they are of standard and acceptable strength for their size. Each of the 2 x 10 magnets I received was well finished without nasty imperfections and each set of 10 comes very well packaged; the magnets are sandwiched between 2 protective metal nuggets which are placed within a 2 sleeved hard plastic box. They come well described on the box and with instructions and safety leaflet. They're good value and the purchase experience was positive.

The only reason I bought these magnets is because they were on offer on the Today's Deals page. I didn't actually need any magnets but I thought well, you never know, I MIGHT need some one day, and besides which, they looked kind of cute in a mini-industrial way.I didn't look at the size before I ordered them as from the picture, I assumed they were about an inch and a half long. They are not, they are tiny. But don't let this put you off.They arrived in a nice, sturdy little plastic box with two extra bits of metal inside that are slightly bigger and fatter than a single magnet. I've no idea what the bits of metal are for but, like the magnets, I'm sure they will come in handy for something one day. There is also a safety data sheet inside the box but I've not got round to reading that yet.So, to the magnets themselves...not being an expert in magnets I didn't know what to expect but these tiny, cute little things are powerful!They are fun to mess about with but I'm sure they will also have many practical uses...once I've finished playing with them.I like them so much I'm going to buy more in different shapes and sizes. Because well, you never know when you might need some small and mightily powerful magnets.

I used these on the back of a work light to stick the light to metal surfaces. I needed three of them to hold a 50g light but they hold the light perfectly in either vertical of horizontal. If you're looking for something to hold them in place use 'Hill's' double sided number plate foam stickers (search it), they stick these magnets in place perfectly. If they hold number plates then they'll hold these magnets. Only use 'Hill's' not the copies, which are useless.(no I don't work the Hill's. Halford's sell them so do online auction sites.

arrived quickly, well packaged, but i was surprised at how delicate these are, the package comes with a leaflet covering various safety warnings and a tip, don't let the magnets snap together as it may chip and break the magnets, I prised the magnets apart to test the force of them and as I placed one down a few inches away it did exactly what i was told not to allow, they are so light even from a distance one got lifted up and broke clean in two. Now, I know I was warned, but i wanted to use these as a fastener that would require them to be snapped together often and i doubt they would be sturdy enough to survive without some kind of protective surface to prevent chipping.nothing wrong with them, but the delicate nature restricts what they can be used for.

Absolutely love these things, with an extremely strong pull, they find their way into all my cupboard doors.Careful not to let them snap together into the main block, since they'll easily break (being only 1.5mm thick!), but once in place they're perfect.

Bad quality .

These magnets are so strong! I pulled 2 apart and then I heard a ‘ching’ on my metal table which was about 1 meter away from me and it was a piece of the magnet that (snapped off) and got magnetised and stuck to the table leg!!!They’re really really strong magnetically but quite fragile when handling.

Magnets arrived today, much smaller than i thought from picture, my fault I should have read the measurements. They are extremely strong and to separate them is difficult, they snap / break very easily. Have broken 4 in a very short time.
