Everbuild Everflex AC50 Contract Acoustic Sealant and Adhesive, White, 380 ml

I had some hesitation because other reviewers said it didn't fit in a culking gun - they do in fact fit in a normal size skeleton/caulking gun. Someone else mentioned not getting nozzles, i got 3 nozzles with 3 tubes as expected. The sealant itself was easy to use when sealing round insulated plasterboard. I also used it as frame sealant around the window/plasterboard joints and round sill. Tooled off and cured really nicely. Between this sealant and insulated plasterboard the room is warmer and a little quieter. Will use again

Now my windows are quiet and less drafty

I used it to assist in the construction of a 'soundproof' room. Easy to use and smooth down before it cures. Although waterbased? product can irritate sensitive skin. Worked great for sealing uneven joints between walls, ceilings and studwork. Coverage is fair though I found I needed more than was estimated for to complete the job. Can be used as an adhesive to attach plasterboard to fixings though I didn't use it for load bearing areas. Mainly used to seal joints between boards before taping and finishing. Can be easily painted over. Says you can 'sand it down' you can but very time consuming! More than happy to recommend this product and I would buy it again for a similar project/job.

Nice and fluid to use not too thick like others I have used

This doesn't fit the standard size gun so be aware of that. I had to cut mine down to fit in my caulking gun. It adhered well and was easy to spread and fill the edges of the area I'm trying to reduce excess sound. It doesn't last very long and the nozzles it comes with seem to "waste" a large amount of filler in the tube.

Not as great as its states, settling time is too long in winter. I have applied day before and its still not set

So I bought this with little expectations, as the gap around my window was minor so didn't expect much of a change.. after using it, it has changed the room. Quieter, warmer and sticks just like caulk, easy to use and can be painted over- worth every penny. Really good stuff!
