We used to LOVE Tate's - but these are AWFUL!
I grew up in Southampton and we ALWAYS went to TATE's for everything! It was wonderful. I have continued enjoying them - UNTIL NOW! They have been sold to a large company and WOW - DID THEY RUIN THIS COOKIE! It is DRY, TASTELESS and generally unpleasant! We tried them and had to throw them out - they are THAT BAD! This is the MOST DISAPPOINTING purchase EVER! It is SHAMEFUL that they are using the TATE NAME without the quality product it used to be! We will NEVER buy TATE's again! And that is VERY SAD as it's always been my favorite cookie!
