I had a black distressed hat very similar to this but I lost it. I don't prefer the longer bill and was looking for a new hat. I saw this one and thought it might work. It does look great and fits perfect. The hat is very well made and looks like it will last. And of course, I found my old hat in my swim bag! LOL

The hat looks and feels nice in terms of the fabric fade and style. The circumference of the hat is fine (it fits comfortably around my head without squeezing), and it's adjustable. The depth of the hat is a bit too shallow though. I like the bottom edge of a hat to rest just in the cradle made by my ear against the side of my head. This hat only comes down about an inch above that point. *An additional point to note is that within about 3 weeks of having this hat, the buckle clasp came off and now the hat is unwearable. I have some attachable buttons that I'm going to put on to fix this, but it really shouldn't have broken. I have cheaper hats that have held up for years of abuse, and this one was certainly not abused. For the price, I'm not too concerned though.

Very cute hat, but it had a funny smell to it initially. I put it into the washer with a small load, delicate setting, and it came out frayed and unsewn around the bottom edge. I do not put my hats in the dryer, but hang them to dry. I believe if I'd dried it, it would have gotten more tattered and unwearable. Rather cheaply made. I'll sew the edge and wear it as long as possible, but I won't take the chance and purchase this hat again.

I bought this "three-star general" cap for three [3!] reasons:1.) It's blue; and I was, ALSO, in The Navy.2.) It looks great with an iron-on American Flag on the front.3.) I put another IRON-ON patch across the rear: "DEPLOYABLE DEPLORABLE".Highly RECOMMENDED PURCHASE.

I really like this hat. It's a thick quality material, the brim it holds it shape well, and has good deep/rich color with the right amount of fade..The only issue that I have with the hat is that I have a big head, and the buckle that should hold the adjustment strap in place is not very effective at keeping the hat tight. The hat is slightly large on my head, which I really don't mind under most circumstances as it defaults to a relatively comfortable fit. I've worn this hat almost every day since I got it, and it's only "slightly large" in that I can get a few fingers between it and my head (see pic 1).At this size, it will blow off my head in a medium wind. When I tighten the strap (if it's windy out) to try and keep it from blowing off, it will stay tight for a bit, but will slowly slide back out until it's loose again over the course of a few minutes. There is a little slit/pocket into which the extra 'tail' of the strap fits (see pic 2), so that's good as it keeps the strap from hanging out and flapping around. However, even when tucked into this slot, the strap slides back to being loose.A workaround for this (if I absolutely need to keep the strap tight), is to loop the strap back over the buckle and double it back through on itself (see pic 3). This isn't ideal, as it's a bit bulky and looks somewhat clumsy. Plus, if wind gusts up quickly, I want to be able to just reach back, pull it tight, and know that it'll hold. As it is, however, I need to stop what I'm doing, take off the hat, tighten it, double the strap back, and then resume what I was doing. Again, not ideal, but it works and holds the hat to the tightness that I want when I need it.I will stress that this buckle thing is not a dealbreaker, and if I ever lose or ruin this one, I will likely order this exact same one again. I have a hard time finding good hats that fit, look the way I want, and don't cost too much. At this price, this hat checks all of my must-have boxes, and I would happily recommend it.

Darn talking thing I hate typing anyway he looks great in it he's a big fat slob he looks like a Greek Fisherman on unemployment on a dock in Greece fishing for anchovies

Looks great on, feels great on. Lightweight material. Adjustable fit. Probably my favorite cadet cap. Wish they had more colors.

This will definitely become my go-to hat! I have a larger head (men's hats fit me better a lot of the time), but with the adjustable back, this hat fits GREAT! I hope to purchase more colors in the future!

I love the shape and fit, it was more “ distressed “ greyish / black than depicted in photos. Still very pleased with the purchase. Quick delivery would absolutely purchase from this company again, know others that have purchased black. Cool hat!

I wanted a field cap, not a baseball cap.Brim is too long, hat does not hold its shape, looks like an ill-fitting baseball cap.Disappointed.

I bought it for myself but turned out giving it to my wife, too small. Looks good.

Great hat very well-built, I wish they would offer more decals other than the three stars. Would recommend.
