I've used this stuff for many years. You'd think Super Glue that bonds in seconds would be fast enough, but sometimes it just isn't soon enough. Also, it's not so much speed, but let's say you have a slight gap. Super Glue doesn't bond well if it just pools somewhere; it likes hard contact between surfaces. Spray a little of this on, and BANG, all the super glue sets up within a second, even if it's pooling in a little gap. Really great stuff. A little bit of a chemical smell when you spray it, but hey, it's a chemical. I've never had a problem with it leaving a stain or residue, though you can wipe up overspray if you like. Really no downside to this, except the little sprayers that you refill tend to give out after a while. You have to be a little careful not to accidentally spray onto your tube of glue, or you risk hardening up the nozzle of your glue. Just use common sense. You can also spray one surface first and then apply glue to the other surface before you put them together. Some people do this, but I usually don't.

When I was asked to review this product I thought, nahhhhh, everybody knows what this is, right? Wrong! Even Amazon itself doesn't know what it is! :) Upon starting the review by agreeing, it brought up it's rating screen and asked the questions as if it [the product] was a toy!!!! WELL, Zap Zip Kicker is not a toy at all, but I bet its used in the construction of millions of toys. For those of you who do not know, ZZK is a catalyst for CyanoArcylic [super glue]. It speeds up the curing of super glues by many times. It is especially handy when you can't hold two parts together steadily for more than a few seconds. A quick spray mist or drop of this....and your glue is cured. We use it in the Guitar Shop almost every day I'd say. It is an indispensable product especially when we are using super glue to build up layers when patching a chip on a multi-thousand dollar guitar. Many of you might not know that CYA [super glue] can be used for thousands of things, not just repairing your cracked China. And CYA comes in various thicknesses for specific type gap filling applications. Zip Kicker comes in very handy when you need thicker applications of the glue to cure instantly. Thick applications of CYA can skim over and never really cure down deep by nature of the product sealing itself off from the atmosphere. Zip Kicker solves that problem and cures it, right down to the bottom. This review is for the REFILL size. The container itself is important, that it doesn't leak and gas off prior to use. It doesn't. And it's most economical to buy ZZK in this quantity as you tend to use more product when spraying it over your CYA joint, than the glue itself. What I'm trying to say, is you need more ZZK than CYA because most people apply the ZZK with a fine mist spray applicator. So having 8oz. around is very handy. I rate this product as 5 star. I really don't know how it could be better. ONE NOTE THOUGH.......ZZK WILL TURN CLEAR SUPER GLUE A BIT YELLOW. Greg @ GREG GUITARS LLC

This stuff is awesome. A little bit goes along way too. If you use superglue this is awesome to have on hand. I wish I would have started using it years ago. I keep mine in a tiny travel size spray bottle. So far it's holding up and working great. I just refill it when needed from this big bottle. For the money it's a no brainer.
