Bought this wing mirror as a replacement for my mums car mirror as hers broke off after many years. VW quoted me a ridiculous amount of money to replace and fit one so I thought I'd try amazon. I found this one and I thought i'd give it a try considering it was a lot cheaper! I removed the old one from my mothers car and fitted this one easily. The connection points to the wires were in different places but after working that out it was really easy to put together and fit. It works well with the electronics in the car and heats up too. Perfect for this cold weather in England at the moment!

This is right hand mirror for a left hand drive car as it does not have the lateral convexity for blindspot reduction. Otherwise does the job.

Excellent product for my VW 2007 Golf at only one-third of the original part price. Works very well, including heated mirror; no problem with "UK version" as stated in one of the reviews - you just have to push it gently from both sides.

Unfortunately this is not the UK version, it does not have the curved edge for blind spot.Also the back looks a little different from the pictures presented.Didn't mount it, so not sure if it fits well.
