They are perfect for pasta, but if you are looking for tongs for other uses as well - like turning over sausages or bacon, they are not fit for it. Especially for oven baked stuff - too short. Good quality but use is only for spaghetti or salad.

My mum has an identical set of Spaghetti Tongs, I remember her having them ever since I was a child. I hadn't realised her Spaghetti Tongs were made by Alessi, but when I was looking to purchase some Spaghetti Tongs, I was hoping to find something similar if not identical. What a surprise...!!! Some 40 years later they still make them. Absolutely identical and perfect. Their design is lovely, they fit well in both my wife's hand and my hand. Their size is perfect, about 190mm overall length. The tong bit measures about 60mm and has 6 'teeth'. The spring level is just right for us. Overall, so far, very pleased with my purchase.

These tongs are amazing! I bought some in a market in Naples, Italy more than 40 years ago, and have been using them constantly all these years.....wonderful tool to use when griddling steaks etc. as well... just couldn't be without them!! Have just bought two more for Christmas presents.

I was shocked at the very poor quality and definitely not what I've come to expect from Alessi, and like another reviewer on here I'm not convinced they are genuine Alessi

仕上げはとても綺麗ですが、金属が薄く華奢です。 その為輸送時に変形していました(華奢なので直せましたが) alessiは好きなのですが、今のところ唯一の失敗がこのトングです。

I have tried several spaghetti tongs and all of them were worthless except Alessi. Don't waste your time and money trying others - believe me I have done that. These are made of a good quality steel and they will pick up even small items while you cook. The best!
