I am so very surprised with the quality of these lamps. They are beautiful, very heavy, easy to assemble, etc. I almost didn't make this purchase because of 2 things I read in other reviews, so I wanted to address those issues.1. Yes, the shade comes rolled and requires assembly and has a velcro seam. Don't let this be a deal breaker. The shade looks much nicer than other inexpensive, more permanent shades. The seam is a little odd, but only if you place the lamp in the middle of a room. Otherwise, you won't notice it. Beautiful shade overall.2. The frame of the shade DOES NOT stick up above the shade. The shade can only be assembled one way. If you do it backwards, it sticks up.Just a couple more things.. the color is very deep brass. There is nothing gold about these lamps. Also, one of my lamps had a silica packet shoved deep inside the bulb socket. Weird. Be careful. Overall, I am very happy with these lamps and will be buying more for my spare bedroom.

These lamps are exactly what I was looking for. Elevated the space and easy to put together.

Love my choice as I had been looking for tall bedside lamps with USB outlets. After reading review I was expecting the rolled up shades, which I had never encountered before, but they were easily assembled and looked great. Lamp base is quite heavy and sturdy and I love the accent stripe around the lamp shade. My ONLY complaint is that there should be a Right and Left lamp as generally if you purchase 2 lamps and intend to set in a bedroom or living room, you have a right side and a left side. The problem IMO is the USB outlet position. On the right nightstand outlet is positioned in the right direction BUT on the left nightstand, the outlet is positioned on the outside of the lamp base, so your cord will have to be inserted further away. This isn’t a deal breaker but just a design flaw.Haven’t quite figured out about the different light brightness option as when I turned the knob nothing happened, so will have to work on that.Overall, I am happy with purchase and would recommend.

Very attractive lamps that are well-balanced and use very little of the table top. Shades are a delicious white. Be aware that the lamps are not shiny-their finish are gold matte.

These lamps are great in the living room on either side of my baby grand. They are not light weight. Looks expensive, but has a great price. Highly recommend!

These lamps were easy to assemble and quite heavy. The color is not exactly what I expected, but that wasn’t a deal breaker for me. I do like the USB port. Whatever happened to real lampshades??? These silly lampshades that are Velcroed together are so weird to me. Don’t get me wrong, they work fine and are easy to put together, but come on! Let’s got back to real, already assembled lampshades! With that being said, these are fine for my purpose.

These are absolutely gorgeous. The gold color is a matte paint instead of metal which I like. It makes the lamps look more expensive than they are (sometimes gold metal items are too shiny.) The shades are an off white color with gold trim. Very pretty. We put them on either side of the TV in our living room. The TV is too big for an armoire to hide it so this is a nice way to at least make that wall look somewhat appealing. My husband did whatever you do to make them dimmable so we can lower the light to watch movies. They have a phone charging socket on the base. We don’t need it for the living room but good to have if we ever move them to a bedroom.

These lamps were for my bedroom - they are quite attractive. The only thing I did not really like were the shades which were rolled and had to be put together, That does result in a seam which is a little unsightly, but by placing that on the rear of the lamp, you really don't notice it. It was not hard to assemble, all parts were intact, and all in all, the lamps look very nice, especially for the price.

These are great for the price - good heavy, substantial bases. The only reason I am not giving these a 5 star rating is the lamp shades, that need to be created from rolled material, and connect with Velcro. These are fine if positioned against a wall; but I would not use them where all sides of the lamp shades could be seen.
