SOMMER 4020 TX03 868-4 Garage Door Remote Control 4 Button

I had been warned about the complexity of setting up these remotes ( they go in the wash far too easily) . The setup was simple - the supplied instructions needed a magnifying glass but I found the same on-line . Followed to the letter and three doors set up on the same remote no problem! Build quality seems as good as original.. now just need to fix to a big piece of wood so it doesn’t get left in a pocket for the wash….

Easy to programme and good value for money. Only problem is that the model I bought has a metal clip on the side which gets in the way and also allows the unit to fully slide out on occasions, as opposed to just doing this when you need to change the battery. Next time I will get the model with 2 buttons that is fully connected with the case and doesn't slide out.

I purchased as replacement for existing garage door remote, as the buttons were worn on the original. I was quoted several high prices for replacement remotes from various retailers that I contacted and found this on Amazon for less that half the price I was quoted elsewhere. The instructions are not 100% clear; as with most foreign instruction leaflets, but with a little common sense (a rare commodity these days...not available on Amazon either!) my Father and I managed to get it working in a matter of minutes. Great value and does the job....what else do you need to know?

Ordered this to replace a spare that ended up in the washing machine! A bit pricey but genuine As there are a lot of copies out there. Easy to set up. Was advised of a delay in delivery but was a few days longer than quoted but was worth waiting as I know it’s a genuine item. Would order again if we need another.

Broke both my previous remotes in the space of a few days so was quite shocked to see these advertised on other websites for in excess of 50 pounds. Shocking! Anyway got this for half that and it works a treat, easy to reprogram (so hubster says) and seems to be working well. Also it is not a cheap replica
