Barbie Looks Fashion Doll with Curly Red Hair Wearing Color Block Top & Glossy Pleather Skirt, Collectible with Posable Made to Move Body

She is much larger than I expected. She has gobs of beautiful red ringlets. Some of the ringlets need to be reshaped and are a little frizzy on the ends. I think wrapping damp strands around a thin pencil should smooth and re-curl. She has enough hair to bring a bit up to the crown to form curly bangs (like the original barbie). Other reviewer mentioned the glue holding the dress in place. So, I pinned her hair out of the way and carefully removed the glue by rubbing with my thumbs and fingers. It took time and work, but I was able to remove it. It would be great if the manufacture skips the glue - what a pain. One elbow joint is stiff, and I gently worked it out a little, but it isn't completely moveable. I was afraid it would break if I tried to force it. The other joints move easily, and the ankles are also moveable. The joints are ugly to me, but I love the articulation, and I'm already getting used to them. I turned 70 in September and fell in love with the original Barbie the first time I saw her. She was the original Barbie. didn't have a daughter, but always wanted to buy myself a barbie, but thought everyone would think me weird, but I realized, at my age I don't care if anyone thinks I'm weird. 😉 It was her voluminous red hair and pleasantly beautiful face that made me decide that she is the one. Unlike all or most of the reviewers, I love her hip colorful outfit and turquoise shoes. She comes with a stand. I would have loved it if she'd also come with a purse/bag and some jewelry. If you give her to a young child, I'd take her out of her packaging. I can imagine a youngster breaking something getting her out of the box. It took me a long time to gently remove her from the box. Young children will need to be gentle with her moveable joints. I am very happy with my purchase.

One of the best dolls Mattel has come out with in awhile. I own the whole series of the color block Looks dolls. Her outfit is one piece with nicely made shoes. I do have to say the stands are cheap and the waist holder cracks in half. Her red hair is thick and curled nicely.

I'm in my 40's experiencing a Barbie renissance. This one was for me, not my kids. She's beautiful! The waist joint is a little slippery but as a display doll this is a non issue. Her original dress has tiny double sided tape to stay modest but the adhesive residue comes off with a thumb rub. I don't let my girls play with her so as to not spoil her hair. Joints aren't subtle, but posing is really neat as a girl who came up with rigid elbows and only slightly kink-able knees. I want another to keep in the box!

Love her face! Wild hair but manageable ... and it's red!

While the box was slightly damaged, the doll herself is in great condition. Her hair did end up sticking a little to some of the tape/glue that was meant to hold her dress in place on the bust and shoulders, but this was easily fixable (NO cutting needed!).Others have mentioned her kneecaps/elbows being a darker color (possibly due to being a different type of plastic). Thankfully I didn't run into this issue, as everything matches perfectly.I see no imperfections with her face (yay!) and her hair/curls are lovely!I do wish her outfit was two separate pieces instead of sewn together, as I really like the red faux leather skirt, but the yellow and purple top is pretty cringy.

This doll is great. Has a made to move body and a stark resemblance to Mera from Aquaman. Definitely needs a wardrobe change! My girls did not like her bold outfit, but the doll itself is a great addition to their collection.
