I put this away for someday. It is still sealed. I can not speak to the ability to grow food .

Haven’t planted any seeds. But the can is a great size.

I want to give this item 5 stars, but would have to open the can to rate it properly. Assuming consistent quality I recommend buying two and opening one for use with the first planting opportunity so you can be confident of the seeds in can two.

Everyone should have a couple of these cans stashed away just in case. Don’t store where too hot. Under your bed fine. If you need to know why, watch tv and tead newspapers. Otherwise just take this advice. Great gift family and friends.

I love that these come canned, they are ready to go into long term storage, they are protected in the can.

I bought a Mountain Valley seed can in 2013 back when it had a different label, kept it sealed, moved from Colorado to Texas, moved to New Mexico, moved to Oklahoma. Never kept the can in a temperature controlled environment. Started planting the seeds this year (2023) and have over 90% germination so far. Purchased another can last month to keep stored just in case... This can is awesome!

No idea if the actual seeds are any good until their is an emergency and I have to plant them... The packaging seems sturdy, very protective, and convenient for storage. Had trouble opening with can opener because top rim is a bit high. Bottom seems best option for opening. Price was right. Plan to buy 2 more.
