Trek High Protein Flapjack Original Oat, 50 g - Gluten Free Bars – Healthy Snack Bars – Plant Based Protein - Vegan Bars (Pack of 16 Bars)

I’ve been buying these for a while now. Filling and offers more protein than flapjack. Same cals and protein as having about 30g of nuts, but more filling I find. I like the taste and texture, many protein bars are just not nice. These have non-whey protein, so are easier to digest (these don’t cause gas like whey protein bars do) I usually have one around noon with a cuppa, which means I can hold off on lunch until at least 2pm. Great value at less than £1 a bar.

Accidentally stumbled on these at a local Holland and Barrett's when I was a tad peckish, seeming they were on offer and not overly laden with sugars etc I took the plunge. Yum!. I've tried protein bars in the past, most of which are like rubber and require at least 1 litre of water to get moisture back in your mouth. These are just like having a normal supermarket flapjack, without the massive sins. The addition of the 10g protein helps take off the hunger pangs and in moderation is a good afternoon work snack to get you to dinner time. Also makes for a good treat for gym goers with the added protein and lower sugar content compared to some other protein bars. Original flavour is my preferred choice but the morning berry is also very good. The whole range all seem to have the same nutrition specs so you don't have to make choices based on which flavour is the healthier. Also works out cheaper than H&B when bought like this.

These are great for a snack-attacks at short notice, and I carry them around with me so I always have one to nibble on. I ordered two other types at the same time for purposes of comparison, and these came out top for taste. I have some food intolerances (wheat/gluten among them) and the Trek bars are fine for me with nothing that I cannot eat included. There is also no horrible peanut taste. I will buy these again.

Delicious taste with a good amount of protein! The value for the quantity is quite good - in the end it worked out cheaper than buying them at Tesco. The quality of them is amazing - it’s my go to protein bar.

I am a repeated purchaser of these protein snacks, they are convenient and perfect to snack on at work. They are a tasty treat with the just right texture and come in a wide range of flavours and have approximately 9g of Protein in which contributes towards my daily target. Buying the box that contains 16 bars at the lower end of the cost is around about 70p to 80p per bar which works out cheaper than buying them in the supermarket.

I saw that these were listed as flapjack so thought they would be worth a try. The taste is ok and the box was good value for money. We did find them a bit dry so they were not as tasty as expected.

Always been happy with this product. Unfortunately the last three boxes I will have to discard. Sadly they don’t taste the same and the quality is poor in comparison to what I normally receive. I bought them at discount price and noticed on arrival the date expires next month. Normally they have a much longer date on. Possibly why they are hard and don’t taste the same? I would prefer to pay in full and receive the usual good quality that I have been used to. 3 boxes was very expensive to not be able to eat them. Many Thanks
