Q: What is the guarantee on this item?

don't know what the guarantee is, I've had them for about a month now and I am really impressed with them - the light output is fantastic for a 5W bulb!

Q: Why is the energy rating F?

F is now pretty good: when we left the EU "they" changed the energy ratings which means no more A+, A, B but more letters down the alphabet. Don't ask me why "they" did it, I don't know., but rest assured, the bulbs are just as efficient as they always were.

Q: Will these work with a sucker for fitting in a recessed holder

Yes they are a normal gu 10 bulb so will fit any gu 10 fitting.
