Q: How are the individual sticks opened. It states easy open? Maybe the seller can answer what is meant. Sounds like a mess in the car.

Not a mess at all. Super simple. Put the sealed end of the stick vertical ( as opposed to flat) on your teeth and bite down to open. My toddler eats these on the go daily with no problem.

Q: how long are the sticks? Want to make sure I have a tall enough container to put them in for serving.

These are about 6 inches long. They will store in a box, glass container or in a cup on the countertop.
