Quality tool
The media could not be loaded. This is a quality product & works well. It does require some fabrication to install but nothing too crazy and there are some how-to videos out there. The biggest Pro is also the Con, the material is quality adding a good amount of weight to the end of the saw.

Used on 6x6 for log cabin appearance
The media could not be loaded. Works great! No need to run full throttle. We used it to make a 6x6 appear like the rest of the hued log appearance in our log cabin. The video shows me walking forward, but when I walked backwards, it was easier to use.Heavy duty and nice.We only used it for 2 6x6 so far.In one pic you will see the front of the chainsaw blade sprocket and chain do not line up properly. The chain did not jump off.

Gets it done
It gets the job done but is very rough on the saw and will dirty up the saw real bad so I recommend not using your favorite saw! A longer bar is also probably better so you're not bending over as much

Chainsaw experience, proper PPE, arms extended and plainer away from all body parts.
Easy to install on chainsaw, works great, takes some practice to learn to control and make straight, flat and smooth cuts by finding best speed to run saw. Get better as you use and get more experience. So far no problems and seems to be a quality product.

You need a special bar and chain
Debarking logs works awesome! I went to my local saw shop for the proper bar and chain.

Heavy, little info on which saws appropriate for this
Bought for debarking. Mfr only advised to mount this on a saw intended for 16" bar. Mounted this on a Ryobi 16". Putting 3+ pounds on bar end makes for a lower-back tiring exercise, not easy to modulate depth. Worse, the Ryobi low kickback bar has a narrow profile nose, small diameter, and the returning chain won't stay in the bottom groove so it spins at high speed beside the bar. Would have helped if mfr had listed saws and/or bars appropriate for this device. Mfr offers less dangerous tooth-less chain, but only one of his 2 U.S. distributors carries that (not found on Amazon) and hasn't responded to sizing queries.

Very Well Made
I bought it as a gift and my husband loves it - you do have to buy a new chain for chainsaw that is 2" longer - but that runs pretty cheap...definitely recommend

This thing is awesome
I've been using this to debark the logs for a log cabin, and it's working amazingly well. It's quite rugged, and lasts quite a while before needing sharpened (I got about 20 10ft logs done, of approx. 8-10" diameter)Highly recommended!
