Easy to fit well made for duravit toilet pan

This seat is for a very specific Duravit toilet, and finding a compatible replacement was unexpectedly difficult. I finally managed to get one described as “like new” just due to packaging with the expectation that it would include the seat, cover and hinges as mentioned in the listing. Only the seat and cover were in the box. There was no way to request the missing parts separately, which left me stuck. I sourced hinges myself, but they weren’t compatible with this model, so more money wasted. Amazon weren't helpful and wouldn't give a part refund, and their link I was directed to for the company was broken. Eventually, I contacted Duravit’s team directly, and they also wouldn't budge despite it coming from them, so I still had to buy the correct hinges from them to complete the setup. The seat itself fits and looks good once it’s finally installed, but getting to that point was far more effort and costs than it should have been. If you’re buying this for a Duravit toilet, make sure you’ve got all the right parts you need – and be ready for a bit of persistence. This experience has genuinely made us consider just replacing the whole toilet next time!

Its an expensive lavvy seat, soft close will be OK for a couple of years but then stops working ( this is our second one)

Perfect. This was the correct replacement for our broken seat. Works well.

Arrived safely..was missing the two plastic fasteners/washers that the seat fixes into. Had to go to local shop to get them. NOT clear on the packaging. A lot of money for what they are, especially as parts were needed.
